Today is a difficult day for me as I am parting with my beloved 2005 E55.
I looked for 3 years to find a later E55 in the exact color I wanted, flint grey.
It was owned by a business man in Northern California and I had it shipped down. He just purchased a 2013 E63 with Ceramic Package and only had a 4 car garage, and this would be his 5th. So I lucked out and bought it from him!

The rear seat he said was never sat in, and I believe him. The interior is 9.5 out of 10 the driving condition is 9.5 out of 10 and the exterior is 9 out of 10.
I've never eaten any food in it whatsoever. I took better care of this car than I do of my family (don't tell them I said that).

This 2005 AMG came with tinted windows, and a full front end clear bra including both headlights ($1,000 just for the bra). From there I tinted the windshield 35% ceramic to cut 65% of the heat and uv coming down on the dash/interior.

I also added the front flat amg symbol, removed all E55/AMG/V8 Kompressor emblems, installed full LED tail lights w/paint matched strips, paint matched the rear mercedes star emblem, and matched the chrome strip just below that...turning this nearly 500hp beast into a Stealth AMG.

Included with this E55 is a folder with the full service history of the vehicle.
We went above and beyond to take care of this car.
In the past 6 months alone i've changed the front brakes, serviced the transmission, new tires, new front brakes, new updated front thrust arms, and new belts. This IMMACULATE E55 needs nothing but a new driver and a new home. It is the one of the smoothest, fastest, and most responsive cars I've ever driven. I didn't see mileage listed, but pic of the dash shows 120K. Is this the current milage?

 

Actually, I am the 3rd owner. I've only owned it for about 6 months and decided it was a bit too much car for my budget.
It has already been replaced with a 2000 540i 6speed. My 'replacement' car won't even hold a candle to the AMG, but is a budget conscious choice which I need to do.
The E55 currently has 120,390 miles.

Nice car, looks like you took really good care of it - few questions

- what is that bump on the trunk, looks like the a Satellite radio antenna (I assume the one on the rear window is the Nav. system antenna). Did you do any updates to the stereo/phone/etc?

- Do you still have the original trim pieces?

- has the 100k service (plugs, etc.) been done.

The bump on the trunk IS the Satellite Radio. I personally have not done any updates to the stereo or phone, but that's not to say they haven't already been completed. Do not have the original trim pieces, but I will include new pieces with the sale. The 100k and so on services are complete. Recently completed Service E. Thank you!

THE FACT is, it's not bolted on...
I used industrial strength Velcro. It's great, I highly suggest it.

I bought my 04 with 93212 original for $15,000 best purchase I have ever made because I wouldn't sell it for any other car and will be keeping it until it dies. My brother has a black 04 e55 on black interior mine is silver on black interior, his girl has an 04 c32 amg, I definitely think you should include everything that was original and put it back on the car. you would get more money that way. I searched for 6 months for an all stock vehicle and I swear that was the selling point for me. that hood ornament is classy and the sleeper effect is cool but when you buy one of these it is because you want people to know what you have, at least that's why I bought mine. there's always going to be faster cars out there but they wont look good like the e55s and they wont do it as a 4 door sedan. Who could really be mad about losing to a faster sport coupe? when you are racing them in a sedan made ofr luxurious comfort? not me, I am just saying for your asking price you want that prestige on that beautiful car. I wanted flint grey too but I decided to get silver and get a wrap instead. may help you get more money good luck either way
