Gorgeous car! A real man's car.
And it seems that it is sorted out, with the more common problems these cars face already addressed and documented. GLWS!

Go look at some cars on Autotrader.com, cars.com, cargurus.com. Then punch in your car into Nadaguide.com, kbb.com and see what comes out. With Nadaguide, I see lots of dealers selling between clean trade in and retail. Dealers include some reconditioning and come with a warranty so the best you can get is probably a little above clean trade in, but more likely between average and clean. Try taking it to a dealer, they will probably only offer you rough trade in unless you're buying a new car.

I knew this car would take a long time to sell. thats why I have put it up already but I plan to just enjoy driving it until that day comes. 5-6k overpriced? eh, ill disagree with that one. and a 500 horsepower amg will never be worthless. most of these for sale are over 20k and most are 03-05 mine is an 06 that has been completely sorted out.
anyways I just simply was suprised with the low number of interest, and asked if there were better places to list it.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Unfortunately,
A few unfortunate facts:
Even the best, newest lowest mile CL 's are very tough to sell. Ask me how i know. It's a low volume, low demand car. Compound that with the fact that your car is now NINE years old. And is approaching 100k miles. The CL is a unique, acquired taste-- a fabulous car, but perceived by most as a limited use coupe. Further perceived as a car that is expensive to run and repair ( that's not real inaccurate, either). Combine these with your worst problem: there is very little, if any, financing available for a 9 year old nearly 100000 mile car. Over 80% of cars in America have a lien. $20k for 48 months is about $500 a month. And that doesn't include repair costs. And oh yeah, 20k is STILL about 5+k less than you want. Great looking car, you just gotta decide how much you love it...
