FS: 2005 E55 AMG Wagon 84k miles

I'm sure I'm going to regret this in the future... but.... I mean who wouldn't regret selling a 1 of 130 supercharged V8 unicorn that can beat up on porsches, vettes, and haul 70 cuft of cargo? Yeah... well... life.

So the time has come to sell my 2005 E55 Wagon. Brilliant Silver on Charcoal. Located in Chandler, AZ (85224)

Asking price is $27,500. OBO

Email me questions or offers: esses@computer.org

Let's cut to the chase, here's the details:

VIN: WDBUH76J05A751277
Color: Brilliant Silver
Interior: Charcoal with Brown Burl Walnut
Mileage: 84k

Overall:
STOCK STOCK STOCK STOCK, right down to the OEM logo'ed windshield. No chips, no pulleys, nada. Zip Zero Zilch. Maintained with OEM/OES parts.

Non-stock options: DCTMS flat bottomed steering wheel, LED running lights, WeatherTech cargo mat, Formula 1 Pinnacle Series Ceramic Tint

Options: Perforated leather, heated and cooled dynamic/massage 10-way power front seats with 3 memory positions, 4 zone climate control, Keyless Go, Navigation, Third Row Seat, 60/40 split rear seats, power cargo cover, cargo net, 6 disc CD changer, sun shades, moon roof, Harmon Kardon sound system, Rear Passenger sun shades, Home Link garage door integration, phone cradle (can add the BT puck trivially if you want)

Mechanical:
Just performed Service D, replaced supercharger pulley and belt. Already replaced the Airmatics, and the entire fuel tank / senders, so every major issue has been addressed. Only thing pending is control arms.

Exterior:
FANTASTIC condition. Not a door ding on this car. Some very minor wheel nicks (no major rash), small rash/pole transfer on the front right bumper. Side view mirror gaskets need replacing, Driver's side mirror needs replacing.

Interior:
Also in FANTASTIC condition. Everything works as intended. Small trim wear by lower side driver's seat, and passenger side rear foot well. Minor driver's bolster wear.

History:
Car was rear ended about 15k miles ago. Repaired at the best shop in the area (Elwood Body Works, shop of choice for the Scottsdale Ferrari / Scuderia Club). Replaced bumper and tail gate. Zero frame damage. Will happily provide details / full transparency.

I think you mean to say brilliant silver. Also, that is not black Birdseye maple. It's brown burl walnut.
Sweet ride though!

Updated! Thanks! Not sure how on earth I screwed that up. That's what I get for writing a for-sale ad late at night after spending a whole day in the sun.

Any pics of the bumper rash you reference? Does the mirror not move and that's why it needs replacing or something else?

Assume it needs all new upper/lower controls arms + bushings and ball joints? How long ago were the Airmatics replaced?

Whoops. No idea how I forgot to upload that pic. Thanks. I've updated the original for sale add. Last photo. But just for ease, here are the pictures relevant to your question.

Bumper Rash. Honestly, it happened a few weeks ago with the wife. I haven't even bothered to try to get it out yet. Main reason for selling is time. Stuff like this happens, and it eats me up, but I don't have TIME to take care of it. So I'd rather it go somewhere it gets taken care of and replace this with an appliance.

Driver's side Mirror is auto dimming, but it's sort of delaminated (i think that's the right term). It now has a redish tint to the mirror glass . Its still otherwise functional. Look closely at the picture I posted... you can see the red towards the bottom. It's tough to take a picture of.

The mechanic just said control arms. Given the car has 84k miles on it, I'd expect both.

Front airmatics were replaced last year (about 10k miles ago). Rear airmatics still work fine.

Okay HUUUUGEE price drop to $21k.

Please just take this car. I need to move into a Minivan (sigh).

Car now has 92k miles on it. I've replaced the control arms and bushings. I've also replaced the idler pulley. The car just got new rear tires on it, and the dealer just threw in a whole new fuel tank/senders etc. Save for minor trim stuff, this car is ready to go.

The minivans are convenient with the sliding doors but after awhile you will want this back. Keep it!!!!!! GLWS. I am in the 3rd year of minivan driving & will probably have another 2 years before I can move on up to the Estate!!!
