2009 CL 63
2009 CL 63 58k miles

Thinking about selling my car for an S Coupe but on the fence, thought I would put out here and see if anyone was interested or had some insight on how best to sell my car. I rarely drive but absolutely love the vehicle, it is in perfect condition and has been maintained to the T with an open checkbook. All services and maintenance's have been performed so it only needs oil changes for next 50K miles. Always hand washed and professionally detailed by Jason Cavallo at www.cavalloautosalon.com , he is pretty much the go to car detailer in the Houston area with a high end car. The car has pretty much all the options:

Night Vision
Performance Packages 1 & 2
Premium Packages 1 & 2
Dynamic Seats
Illuminated Door Sills
Streaming BT Audio
Upgraded Factory CL 65 split spoke AMG wheels

I'm sure I forgot a few things but if anyone interested or has any advice on best way to advertise my car please let me know. My car still smells new and is in meticulous shape, I want to find someone who can appreciate that and keep her looking like brand new.
Took these with my phone recently , not the best pics. Car looks amazing in person.

I honestly have no idea where to price it, I figured here was most knowledgeable group of people to ask. Car is literally like brand new, dealership offered me good money to trade but got me to thinking what would they sell it for. I have been told to ask anywhere from $44k-$48k to start, I have seen pos cars with car faxes in the 30's so hard to show a potential buyer the differences in the cars without having them side by side. My buddy bought a budget 2008 CL63 last year for $41k and has dumper $9k in car to make it better but its still in the shop with a "complicated issue". I know that if a serious buyer comes along they will comprehend the benefit of buying a better vehicle instead of shopping on a budget but I'm not sure how to connect. Was thinking about trying eBay and Auto trader but was told all you get is dreamers, tire kickers, and solicitors offering to help you sell your car for more money.

Yeah. I do. Nice car prices:

Wholesale is 35-36. Retail 39-41.

I have an 09 and have been watching prices for the last six months both on Mannheim and on auto trader.

Also the car is right where my warranty paid out around 12k in fixes.

Motor and tranny mounts, pulsation damper, 1 strut, valve cover gaskets, flex plates, command electronics. And more

They seem to fluctuate, maybe I should ask 43,900 obo and see what happens. A couple dealers in my area have sold some '08 cars for high 30's but they all needed little work(1-4K est). My car is mint but I'm realistic about selling it so just want to get fair price, if I were buying my car and knowing what I know I would pay 45-47 but I know the value of vehicle maintained with open checkbook.

Yeah having all the maintenance including new rotors up front is big$.

Your in the ball park but 44k sounds high.

I still have a year of platinum warranty and I'm selling at 64k asking 39k in a month or so.

Most people just use KBB or Nadaguide.com to come up with prices. Nadaguide is what a lot of insurance companies use to value a car. So if someone buys your car and totals it the next day, the most they normally pay is nada retail. So if you punch the numbers into nadaguide, the numbers you were quoted earlier is pretty much right on the money and most direct buyers won't pay retail.

Nice ride and it will sell, but guessing 36- 39.5K selling point. Most people are scared of these cars due to high rate of keeping her road worthiness. GL

Put my car on ebay, have 43 watchers and getting tons of questions but don't know how serious these guys are. Put on brand new tires and had all the services completed then the dealership got in a blk/blk S63 convertible

I have few local guys interested but don't take anyone serious till they give me the cash, few have asked for owner financing

http://www.ebay.com/itm/131941413673...84.m1555.l2649

I wasn't to serious about selling before so that's why I priced high to let it go, still hate to sell since I see mostly pos run down cars like this for sale and mine is still like brand new shape. When my S coupe came in I didn't see it being worth the money to swap out but now with the S63 convertible I def do. Someone will be getting an amazing vehicle thats for sure. Had a few guys email me saying the kbb value is 31k and they have cash and I tell them to go buy another one for 31k then enjoy dumping 5-7k into the car to make it right.
