FS: 1989 560SL AMG. 25K miles. Immaculate.
You are looking at THE CLEANEST, coolest and 100% original 560SL for sale in the USA today. Pictures do NOT do it justice.
Built on September of 1988, this 560SL was one of the last Mercedes-Benz R107's ever made. She was delivered new in Canada on November of 1988 and was immediately shipped to AMG NA where it received AMG numbered front and rear bumpers, sideskirts and AMG Penta wheels (I do not know if the car received engine modifications at AMG). The car lived in Canada until 1995 when her owner moved to the USA and decided to bring the car with him.
This 560SL remained in the loving hands of her original owner for 26 years until a new care taker took over in the spring of 2015. This gentleman fell in love with a 30 y/o car that looks and drives like a new Mercedes-Benz but soon after his line of work took him to the Middle East. It was at that time that I added this vehicle to my stable; I am a 10 year active member of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America with a passion for collecting and restoring rare and vintage Mercedes-Benz automobiles.
Back to the car, she is 100% original, from its factory soft top to the "wet" looking factory paint; from its immaculate leather interior to the mint carpets and floor mats; from its original never used Pirelli P6 spare tire to each Mercedes-Benz hose clamp in the engine bay! You can see in some of the photos that the car still retains its factory VIN stickers on several panels, the bumpers and the engine bay.
Needless to say, my car FLIES! and drives better than any 560SL I have ever put my hands on; NO EXCUSES. This car has spent all its life in controlled enviroment garages and has accumulated extremely low mileage only in good weather, no rain, no snow, NO RUST and EVERYTHING works as it should: power windows, clock, original stereo, AC, electric mirror et cetera.
The car also comes with its original tool kit, ALL owner manuals, two factory keys (look new, consistent with mileage) factory supplied (Mercedes-Benz stamped) hard top cover, hard top cart, wind screen and bikini top.

Thank you for the kind words Tim. Not sure I'm doing the right thing by selling this car.
It is not only a like-new, last year of production 560SL but a documented pre-merger AMG as well. It is possible I could never put my hands on something like this again.
