MBUSA just released the base price on the 2007 ML63.......$85,500!!! The packages available are:

The 63 will get unique 20" wheels/tires & it will have an "AMG'd" version of the current Air Suspension as standard equipment. They state the HP rating @ 503 bhp & 465 lb-ft of torque.

I'm planning on buying one as soon as the dealer gets some more information.My concerns are more regarding the interior colours than with the other options. I sure don't like the standard interior roof and pillar colours.
I also don't like the aluminum trim on the doors.
I'm hoping that there will be some way to change the interior finish before I plunk down my money.

Hello guys,
I am new to this forum and have a question to all you guys about the price shown above for the ML63. I have one on order but didnt expect this high price, the dealer informed that its gonna be in the low 70's not mid 80's. Is the $85,500 base price confirmed for the US?

Yeah the premium for the AMG ML is quite a bit more than for a AMG E or CLK compared to the regular V8 models. 85K is like what 30K more than a ML500? Usually the premium is like 25K, but still..

I agree Germancar1.....being a good salesperson is like any other profession, you must put in the effort to know more than your customers! Some people just look at this as a job & walk thier way thru with blinders on, not caring that they look dumb when they cannot answer a simple question intelligently.

My salesman still hasn't called to let me know the price. At $90K+ it's a no go for me. I want to thank ML63 for showing us his pictures. It shows me a different trend for MB on their AMG cars: trade HP for Luxury features. The interior is a major let down. ALuminum and plastic instead of wood and leather. Maybe the ML platform has to be looked at differently when adding the AMG upgrade. I think the concept in the ML is "all the technology " for the AMG buyer. I know one day I will want to drive the 500hp with AWD, but for now I will have to be satisfied with 469hp on dry roads in a more luxury sedan that cost me $77K. I will relate my jealousy everytime I see one on the road.

You can buy a lot of other toys for $90k+ I'll keep my ML500 as a daily driver because it is the only vehicle I have that I drive normally, 80mph or less. It's far too tempting to hit triple digits with that much power under the hood.

im keeping my order since i need the car to get some girls ... jk lol but . i had my eyes on that car for a LONG LONG LONG time. so i cant let it get away .
but i think im gonna go to the dealer within the next 3 weeks and vigorously go over my order , because i was not even told that it will have the Suede headliner,

I predict this over inflated price will drop in the next year through discounts and incentives. Its a $20,000 increase over the past ML55! Porsche is preparing to launch a facelifted version of the cayenne which will hurt the ML63 sales in the next year.
