ML63 in Arizona now!

I picked up our ML63 last week! It was the first ML63 delivered new to the Scottsdale, AZ dealer here.

I got Black/grey with most options. After seeing the eBay auction for a discounted ML63 from Colorado I was able to get them to discount mine a little as well too.

Bad things first -
- I hate the running boards. It rained here..and water collects up on top of them. Now they are dirty gross running boards.
- Way too many friggin buttons. I like high tech stuff..but this is a bit much
- shifting from P->R->D ect..isnt fun. I have an X5..and an SL55. But this new shifter is strange. I'm sure Ill get used to it
- Thought the engine would be alot more aggressive sounding
- baby in babyseat is the exact size to take her feet and push all the buttons on the DVD screen
- an SUV with this much HP is silly. I get on it and take it through a turn..and a box of crackers dumps all over..*sigh*
- manual is 600 pages..most Im sure is not important...but I have yet to figure out the nav system.
- maybe most of this is ML related as opposed to ML63 related...but I just thought I'd be picky.

Good things -
-Those brakes...wow. Hugh!!!! Bigger than the SL55s. Really cool looking.
- The power is great! I love it. If I remember to store the crackers and leave the baby at home...I could have some fun here!
- Love that backup camera. Didn't even know I was getting one until delivery. Nice surprise!
- overall looks cool...except the running boards

ok..thats it for now!

I don't see how he will have any time to drive it. Clay, does it snow much in Missouri?

Congrats Challenge!

Great lists of likes and don't likes. The list of likes is sure to grow.

Maybe it's just my poor sense of taste, but I really like the running boards. Very distinctive. I've never seen their like on any other SUV. Without them I think it would look too much like a typical ML500. But that's just me. It seems I may be in the minority.

Again Congratulations...it's a sweet ride. Sure would like to see some Picts!

I like the running boards. Lowers the stance visually.
