Passenger side mirror
Can't get it to fold down when I engage reverse. I thought it was working before. Anybody know how? All my previous Mercedes did it. BMW's too. Any ideas?

Might be dumb.....but is the mirror switch engaged for the passenger side?

Tried both passenger's and also driver's side.

Yep. I want the mirror to dip downwards when I engage reverse, like most cars do these days.

It does not do it anymore. I don't know why they killed that, it was on my other MB's. Maybe because of the backup camera.

I just got the dealer to turn this feature on for my '06 S. It worked fine on my '06 C. Go figure.

They claim it's not supposed to work on the S, even though the book describes it and they could activate it with "version coding."

If your manual describes it, pester your dealer. If it doesn't, don't bother.

No, my manual does not talk about it at all. It seems that my salesman and the mechanics have no clue either. They thought it would work, but have not been able to do it on any 2007 ML's.
