I ordered in August with an October build date, and was told to expect car in mid-November. Called dealer twice, and today was told maybe mid-December but not a definite date, and dealer will check some more.

I'm thinking my spot was given away. Anyone else experience delays?

I ordered back in Oct 2005 and have a mid - Nov build. No final date for arrival here in Calgary. It's friggin cold here now.

Well, mine has just arrived at port in NJ, I guess the train dropped it off there? Not sure. However, my dealer said it will be at the dealership sometime next Monday or Tuesday the latest, so we shall see if I am lucky enough to pick it up next week.

When I ordered, my original manufactuing slot was the first 10 days of November. It slipped to Nov. 21, and I took delivery yesterday.

PMFJI, but I was concerned about my dealer giving away my slot when I started shopping for my E63 in October. Ordered October 12th and, while I've seen a supposed NetStar printout of the slot (faxed to me middle of November) I have yet to even receive a build date. My concern grows.

I realize Ms and Es are different but I'd be interested to know what your timeline was: have you gotten any sort of NetStar printout of your slot?

I never received a print-out, however, just in the past couple of days dealer has provided a VIN and indicated car will be here in 10 days. Ordered in August, scheduled for early-mid November, and now arriving late December.

4 months for an ML63 for you, two months without a VIN for an E63 for me.

Think I'll give my dealer a call.
