Just my opinion - but I am not completely inexperienced in doing so - puting 30's on an ML that you're actually planning on driving more than occasionally is just plain nuts. Just plain nuts.

You are supposed to use a 295./35-22 not a 30, your crazy if you do. The Brabus Car uses a 35

Your tire sidewall height will drop from 4.7 inches to 3.5 inches ( same as on a Porsche 997 with 19 " wheel option ! ) , supporting a 5000 lb plus 500 hp vehicle and add in weight of additional 5 passengers and luggage . Wouldn't want to be riding in this rig a 115 degree day at 100 mph going to Vegas in the summer !

This is the size that Brabus suggest me: 285/30 ZR 22-101W

Originals are: 295/45 R19 with 29.5 in of diameter

295/30 R22 have 29.0 in of diameter; this is 1.6% too fast.
295/35 R22 have 30.1 in of diameter; this is 2.3% too slow.

Don't focus just on overall tire diameter - look at the sidewall height from a personal safety standpoint ( and damage to wheel from even a minor pothole ) . Otherwise you could theoretically fit a 26 inch wheel with 1.7 inches of sidewall , essentially just tread , lol !

well at least you have 4.1 " of sidewall ( oem is 4.7" ). Tire sidewall acts as a " spring ", too. Too short a sidewall will increase ride harshness on such a heavy truck- you don't want look good passing strangers and feel like you are riding a wheel barrel !

When it comes to Wheel and Tire Pakages, Brabus Has Always been a little Conservative With Width. 295,35,22 Would and will be the best way to go.

I personally will probably do a 24 on mine With a 295,35,24

By the way Make sure you get three piece wheels for it, Other wise the heavy one piecers are gonna slow this beast down.

Good Luck
