Nice!!! Whats sort of expected gains from the upgrade?
My soon-to-be ex now has my Jeep SRT8...she put in the bwoody CAI which is supposed to give it 18 rwhp...and upgraded sway bars (she wanted it to handle more like her 4.6is).

Something on 4 wheels..
That video didn't really show anything. It wasn't obvious wether the MB caught up or the Jeep slowed down.
Anyway guys, not to troll this right here, but come one, these are both SUVs, why do you insist on racing them? That is not the point of an SUV. What about drivability, handling, roomines, off road ... Compare them where it counts and see where they stand.

Later this year, there will be a new king in this battle-class..

There is a Porsche dealer by me that hosted a "Come and Drive" for members this weekend and there was a lot of talk about this new car. Honestly, I am not impressed with the styling. Again, spend the extra 45k to say you have a porsche, but as its been said here a few times, these are still SUV's right?

One More
Ok, one more beating of a dead horse. No pun intended after this weeks races, but. In a quote from a link provided by our own moderators on the ML ///AMG board:
"Eats Porsches for lunch
We knew the ML63 was going to do well in our testing, but the numbers it posted had us thinking there might have been a hiccup in the test gear's software. Nope; everything checked out: This puppy is quick. We were especially eager to see how it fared against the 520-hp $132,000 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Bottom line, it smoked the last Turbo S we tested by a half-second from zero to 60 and by almost 2 mph in the quarter-mile. The big Merc also bested the times we achieved with the 420-hp Jeep SRT8, arguably the only other sport-ute able to keep up with the powerful pair of Germans."

Ok, I think we definitely killed Eight Belles now. Whoops, did I say that.

An article from the same tester...showing very similar acceleration times to ML63's above. Bottom line...they are about even below 70 mph...after that the ML63 puts some distance on the SRT8.

Lets face it guys, the only reason to why the Jeep won, is due to the bad start the Merc had, I've been doing alot of research with all these SUV's, en the Merc beats the SRT 8 with everythin(POWER, TORQUE, 0-100)...clearly there was something wrong with the start or the driver
