*~*Powerchip software Before/After AMG 63 dynos*~*

ML63 dyno graphs are here!!!!!!! Powerchip has gained some awesome hp/tq and on the 63 motor. Also, notice the dip in power at around 4,500rpms while running stock software. Powerchip flattens out the power band and gains much more hp/tq from 2,500-3,500 rpms.

Additionally, Powerchip software will remove the top-speed limiter and will improve throttle response, which makes everyday driving much more enjoyable.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or to get an order in.

Sincerely,

-Aaron

Enjoy...

I am in West LA. How much is this and do you have a demo car to show the effects, or maybe a money-back guarantee?

Thanks.

I really felt a big improvement the moment I drove my car home today. I am extremely impressed with the results. Now I just need to check out my new top speed
I recommend this to Every 63 owner out there.

For 91 octane the car gets about 20 whp 27wtq
I will have a top speed run on Video shortly.

The cost of the software is $1,990.

The gains are so good because Mercedes tunes their vehicles very conservative from the factory.

You're welcome to come by and be tuned. We do not have a demo car as Blue Monster's car was the R&D vehicle but we do offer a 14-day money back guarantee to ensure you're satisfied with your purchase.

We have developed tunes for 91 and 93 octane fuel. The power gains on 91 octane fuel are a tad less than 93 but still in the same ballpark. I would say +/- 5 hp/tq.

If anyone has any questions at all please feel free to contact me, I'll always be glad to help.

blip

I don't think that blip is normal for all 63's. I bet it was just a bit of bad gas. Did all the stock dyno pulls have the drop?

I completely understand!

Since you're in the UK I believe you run 98ron or similar gas, which equates to 93 or so octane here in the states.

The ECU is easy to remove and we have instructions with images highlighting such.

Shipping ETA from the UK would all be dependant on what shipping service you use. For example, FedEx International Priority should only take a few days to arrive at most and once the ECU has arrived it will only take about 2 hours to tune it. We can then send it back and you will receive it a couple/few days later. I need to double check on the shipping ETA's.

If you have any questions at all please let me know.

The A/F's are set to a level where optimal power is achieved while keeping your car 100% safe at the same time. Posting all of the a/f's would be extremely hard as we have 50+ a/f readings from both the dyno and wideband.

We know many 4-wheel dyno shops. I'm sure there's a huge list of Subaru specific 4-wheel dynos on NASIOC.com.

Wow...that is quite a gain! I did the Powerchip software "93 gold" on my old E39 M5. I would say seat of the pants dyno was only a 10 hp gain. What I did find to be more pronounced was that it smoothed out the lower rpm's. $1,990 is also a bit pricey for the software (I paid $900 something for it). The process was pretty easy and the guys at Powerchip were easy to deal with and responsive. Good Luck!!

Tom,

Thank you for the reply and I'm glad you were happy with Powerchip

Regarding software prices, the M5 software took less R&D time and produced much smaller gains to due BMW tuning their M-vehicles more aggressive than MB from the factory. The gains on the 63 motors with just software alone are considerably higher than the M5 and the price of software is far less than other performance modifications.

How easy is it? Where is the ECU located on the ML63? I'm planning to do this in a couple of weeks, so any related info on how to remove the ECU will be helpful.

On a scale of 1 to 10 of difficulty in mods, ECU is a 1.

I hope you guys are thinking about joining the MBworld Folding@Home team. Install a program on your computer that runs in the background and you're on your way to helping find the cure for cancer!

I'll Send You The Ecu In 2 Weeks When I Get My Car Here In Panama.

I Use 95 Octane In My Country (panama)

But I Also Has 103 And 109 Octane Race Fuel.
What About If I Mix Have Race Fuel And Half Pump Gas, Can You Tune The Car For Around 98 - 100 Octane And Even Get More Power?

Thanks For Response!!

Panama? SWEET!!! It looks gorgeous there from all the images I've seen.

Tuning for the octane fuel you desire will be no problem at all. I say stick with 95 as the gains from going to a higher fuel like race gas aren't too much more. If you had a turbo car I would suggest otherwise.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
