Here in the US the car comes pre-wired for the bluetooth wireless adapter. You just need to buy the device itself that snaps into place in the center console.
IPOD kit can come from factory or can be dealer installed. I wouldn't see why it would be different in the UK.
The options are listed on the MBUSA "build you own" web page. Bluetooth is $408 USD and IPOD Integration kit is $365 USD.
I'd check with your local dealer.

i-pod integration
The i-pod integration kit is great. It gives you the ability to scroll through playlists, artists, songs, next song etc. all by the steering wheel controls. Your i-pod is hidden away in the glove box charging. Too bad the scrolling controls are somewhat illogical. The blue tooth is also excellent IMO. The clarity is great. Just don't answer your phone within 100 feet of the car after you get out because the car doesn't let go for a long way. It can be in your golf bag in the "boot" and works perfectly.

AMG ML63, M3 CSL, Z4M Coupe, New Audi TT, Audi R8 (coming)
I still haven't sorted this on my car yet. I am smarting from having to pay for something that would have been included on my BMW's, but I guess I should go to my MB dealer and take my medicine like a good boy..
