side steps

side steps
Just had car washed at hand car wash i use sometimes come back home to find that 1 of the side steps has what seems like oxidisation stains,tried everything to get them off with no success, has anyone else had this problem? tomorrow i will go back and try and claim off the hand wash but doubt if i will have much success, looks like new sidesteps, 1 week old!

sorry to hear it, I have the SAME EXACT problem. My story is that the car wash person used a degreaser on the side of my car (ridiculous, i know...) when it went down the side of the car it stained the steps pretty bad... tried many things also.
New steps installed by merc are just over 3k...

yep cheap car washes use the worse crap ever to clean cars.... had this on the x5 had to have it professionally detailed to remove.....
now just use soapy water and no car wash..........
