Any Changes for Model Year 2008 ML63?
Question: Does anyone here have any knowledge what, if any, changes, additions, modifications, etc. will be made to the 2008 model year ML63 AMG, either on the interior or exterior, mechanical or options/features offered, other than a slight increase in base price?
I think I have one of the last 2007 model year vehicles being produced and am curious what may be different, if anything for the 2008 vehicles....

Not sure that Porsche will make another Cayenne Turbo S. When we dynoed the new Cayenne Turbo recently it was producing 524bhp at the flywheel, and it was quicker than the Cayenne Turbo S.
Don't worry though, the ML63 was quicker...

Do you realy think they will add a supercharger to the ML63 AMG?
If so I will put an order in for a 2008 ML63 AMG this time in Obsidian Black!

ML63 sold out? Asanti wheels on order.
I was just in getting a fraying belt repaced. The dealer said that the 07's are sold out! Any one else heard the same thing? Or perhaps its "Only in Canada".
Ordered some 3 piece Asanti (w201) wheels for the ML. Rentech ECU
and lowering module too.

Sold out at least in Greater Vancouver region. Last I check I think there was around 30 cars total in Greater Vancouver. I think the last of the order slot was filled back in January. Obviously some of the cars haven't been build or delivered yet but they are in fact all sold to real person instead of dealer slot.
In the US I do not imagine they are sold out yet just because of the sheer number of cars they get.

I think I'll count myself lucky to have gotten one this year! Thats not a lot considering the number of people here. I've seen a white one (which actually looked really good) and the Black "AMG 63" one as well.

Spoke with a dealer, here's the latest:
- Overall very minor changes for the ML63; major change for 08 is the ML550
- Info on packages not available yet
- Exterior colors same except for green that gets replaced by a different one
- Options same except illuminated door sills which appear to be an option now
- Production of 08s should start 07/01.

I was told by the staff at Steeles/Yonge that all ML63's are sold out for 07 and have been for four months. The only ML 63's coming in are pre ordered. They said that the total number of ML 63 a lotted for GTA was a total of 25. Seems rather low considering the population in Toronto is over 4,500,000.
I was one of the lucky one's who had my truck shipped from MB Canada the day before the Fed .budget and avoided the $4000 gas tax.

That's actually what I heard, 25 for the GTA, less than what we get over here in Vancouver, but I think Calgary area gets the most allocation, 30 odd cars. Oil money rule.

that's what i 've heard too.. basically no packages are offered, illuminated door sills and chrome trim (?) are now options. other than that, pricing and a new green and beige color, all else remains the same.
i wish they made the aluminum trim inside an option.. i am really not a fan of the wood.. carbon fibre would be even sweeter..

still no firm pricing.. i ll let you know as soon as i hear, please do likewise. my guess is same base price but including the lighting package for free. i think the suv is already overpriced for them to raise further...

I think the ML63 pricing is not bad, at least in Canada. The E63 loaded is almost 30K more. Same engine, tranny, lights, stereo, suspension, brakes, similar interior, similar performance. As fast on the Evo track as a $130k M5. 25K less than the new porsche. And a frikin blast to drive.
