ML63 AMG or Cayenne Turbo?

Please help me, I cannot choose between these two cars. Which one is more quiet when moving? I will get the car mainly for winter, roads here are snowy and here and there are ice, so 4wd is must. Which one is better for these kind of condtions?

Btw, If I choose ML63, anyone have idea how long it takes in Europe to get the car?

I'd venture to say the Cayenne is better in tough conditions than the ML. You may order one with central and rear differential lock-up.

Having the same dilemma, decided to order Cayenne because of the tunability aspect.

With true snow tires and the advanced traction control either of these vehicles will perform very well in snow and ice. If you are talking true 4X4 roads that are covered in very deep snow the cayenne is apparently a better choice. If you will be driving on normal gravel/paved roads that are covered in snow and ice then both are more than capable and you should pick the one you like best for looks, performance and price. You cant loose either way in terms of the drive. Im not really sure if a rear lock up is a wise move on paved roads covered in snow and ice unless you are planning to travel at 5km/hr. With the ML you may not need to tune it at all as it is just fine as it is.

The Cayenne is for sure a better offroader. I ordered mine in may and its arriving the week of the 17th. In the US it doesnt take as long

The Porsche is a far more capable vechicle, that and tuning possibilities are tasty and nowhere near as expensive as the ML.

In addition to being a better off-roader and having higher tuning potential, the Porsche also handles better IMO.

the porsche probably has the advantage off road, but only if you outfit it with the right wheels and tires, otherwise, its pretty useless offroad. im also wondering how the ml63 will perform in the winter given the width of its tires.
as for the tunability, im not sure how much more power you would want out of either of these cars. i dont think they'd really be able to handle much more without some major suspension work and some (even more) massive brakes.
