Facelifted ML63!

I just checked the old pricelist and the leather dash was available through designo, but designo is not available for the 63. A radio though is standard but it is without a nav.

very nice....but why does mercedes do **** like that......the ML63 came out this past year and pple that bought one are going to be mad because they came out with a facelift already in only like a year tops. Its like the cls55 the next year they put a 6.2 liter in it to make it the cls63 and also with the SL pple that bought the facelifted one last year not knowing 2 years later that they will give it another facelift.....the last thing the 2007 g55 came out with the bi xeons etc and then they came out with a 2007.5 model with more options.......

The CLS and ML63 oh well...didn't really see those coming. The market dictates what Mercedes-Benz does not the other way around when they could leave a car as is for 10+ years.

That is exactly what they did do. The SL came out for 2003 and didn't get a facelift until 2007. The SL has never been a 7 year car if you remember the previous SL has 2 facelifts also, 1996 and then again in 1999. Nothing new there.

Mercedes are missing a trick here by making some of the changes difficult or expensive to retrofit. The outgoing BMW M3 (E46) had few changes for over 5 years and pretty much most of them could be retrofitted and generally were.

or maybe they are just being respectful to the owners giving them the option to retrofit if they want and if they dont want not destroying the value of the cars... like audi did with the a4 changing it 4 times in 5 years... or bmw with the X5 refresh... or Porsche with the Cayenne... How are the Cayenne Turbo S owners feeling? They released the refreshed one with a better engine within a year of the TT-S release.

The Cayenne Turbo S was the same as the 996 Turbo S- simply a run out model with hiked power and the best available brakes. Everyone that bought one knew this or could have by spending 2mins researching the purpose. Audi did exactly the same thing with the RS6Plus which was sold only in Europe. It allows them to clear their inventory and for consumers to add a rare car with the flipside being that it will soon be dated.
The A4 comment I'll grant you, though that can be explained by the companies shift to the trapezoidal grille occurring during B6 and B7.
As for the X5, well that had a mild midlife facelift before being replaced by the all new model a year or so ago. If ever there was a vehicle that could be kept without aging it was the early build examples of the first gen. X5.

another example too is that i bought my mother a GL450 last january of 07 when they first came out and i remember buying it and the salesman telling me one thing thats good buying this car is that its new and they wont change the bodystyle for along time and then like 6 months later they come out with a GL550 witch i had no idea that they were coming out with and it had the nicer wheels, grille etc etc......I love mercedes but they do know how to F*ck ya.............

EDIT:
An even more impressive wheel/tyre combination is available as an option: titanium-grey-painted, high-sheen 21-inch AMG light-alloy wheels with the new twin-spoke styling are shod with 295/35 R 21 tyres.
