Well I had the only major problem on my road trip. I logged 4400 miles in 9 days and the truck was perfect. I averaged 15.9MPG which exceeded expectations, especially since I ran at speed quite a bit. There was no visible fluid loss of any kind. Oil consumption looks to be zero. The problem happened in Nebraska after 16 hrs of driving and no sleep. I have posted the pictures and they correspond to the numbered paragraphs.

(1) After 16 hrs in the seat I was really tired. I pulled into a Holiday Inn right at the Wyoming / Nedraska border and was informed that due to the "corn festival and fair" there were no rooms for 120 miles. Bumming out I took off for North Platt, NB and really started getting tired. I was at the halucination stage when I finally found a hotel. Checking in I started talking to a cute part time desk clerk. About a half hour after getting to my room and finally asleep I hear a knock and it's the desk clerk. She wants to know if I would like to "bend her ear" a little more. I let her in and the next thing I know we are going at it hot and heavy until we both pass out. I am awakened early with her freaking out because she is late for work and can I give her a ride. We get dressed and hop into the ML.

(2) She looks really good with the window down and her auburn hair blowing in the wind.

(3) We pull into the parking lot and as luck would have it her boyfriend is working construction in the parking lot.

(4) He gets up in my face and starts in "dude, that's my gir" etc.

(5) He then takes a pen and starts poking me in the arm. I am like "dude cut it out that it hurts" he's like "make me city boy", I'm like "let's go corn boy", he's like "come on", I'm like "I'm gonna go Mizzou Tiger on your Husker ***", he's like "Eat me".

(7) Maybe where she works had something to do with it. They genetically alter corn and who knows maybe that is why he had such a bad attitude.

I know it sounds like a weird story but I have pictures.

You try driving that distance and squeezing in 3 14 hr days in a 9 day period, you will also be crazy by the end. It was great getting home to archtown and seeing my lovely wife. The first thing I did was check on the kids, they were safe in bed, see pic.

I'm sorry for the graphic presentation but it was not a pretty scene. I just take the pics as it happens, I report the news not make it. There are also very few available picture props @ 90MPH. I saw the genetic place and it kind of started the ball rolling. You should have seen the expression on the women's faces at the Superwallmart in North Platt, NB when I was checking out w/ 2 ears of corn, a plastic bulldozer, and a Barbi Dress. It was worth the price of admission. I love road trips, you can be really weird and know in your heart you will never see any of these people ever again so f*** it. It's great you can just look em straight in the eye and say "Yeah, that's right".
