Looking at a car with 20k mi and good condition. Not too familiar with the car or its issues so I'd love to hear any feedback on known issues or other details that might help me pre-purchase.

Mine has been great. Mild cae of pinging that was fixed by MB software upgrade and after 3 years and daily use, the sunroof needs 2 hits of the 'one touch' button to full retract

new to this forum and just nosing around...bought my ML63 in January 2010, fantastic vehicle !!! I had an issue with check engine light and had towed to dealer where it spent the last 6 weeks due to broken valve springs. Repair time was ridiculus but I liked the AMG so much I bought a SL55 to drive and returned the loaner car...2 AMGs in the garage...It is a sickness...but I drive with a smile everywhere I go.

Guys, thanks for the feedback. This was a blk/blk 07 with 18k and was / is for sale at RAB Motors in Marin, CA. Nice car, great condition. They bought it at wholesale for 50k and had it listed on the web for 62k. Agreed to take 59k. The car was very nice andaggressive; first time behind the wheeland it was clear this was defintley a luxury / sporty ride. The one issue was that the check engine light came on and went into LIMP mode and wouldn't go faster than 15mph at one point. I kind of got spooked a bit on the whole thing and at the end of the day I'm really looking for an 08 G55. But this was a nice car and I'm sure the CEL issue could be sorted out. The guy I was dealing with at the dealer, Dennis was really nice and unusually straight-forward. Would highly recommend. So I'm passing on this car, but I do think this is probably one of the nicer 07s on the market assuming they get the CEL issue sorted out. And I'd buy the extended warranty too (+5k).

I had some suspension issues on mine, it had been driven about 80thou kilometers. One of the airbags had been leaking so the compressor finally gave in on it. If the previous owner only had replaced the leaking airspring in time...
