There was a diamond white w 8k miles for $85 asking on ebay. I think it's still had warranty.
Why would a 2012 not have warranty? All new benzes come with at least a 3yr warranty standard? Do you mean an extended CPO above factory warranty?

New, old Mercedes and REAL AMG's.
Original MSRP means nothing in these cars, regardless of what the dealer tells you as they will depriaciate roughly 50% in the first three years.

The dealers wants an extra $3,000 for the one year extension CPO warranty.
The car still has the factory warranty in effect.
They would not go down in price, I was told they have many people interested in it.

New, old Mercedes and REAL AMG's.
Make them an offer you feel comfortable with and walk away. There is a very good chance they will call you back.
I can't remember how many times dealers have told me they have "someone that is ready to buy the car if I don't do it right away" just to see the same car still in the showroom a month later.
The "worst" thing that can happen is that you will find another ML63 that you like down the road.
Extended warranty will depend on how long you plan to keep the car.

That's a blatant lie... There will always be "another interested buyer"... That's the oldest trick in the salesman book (I used to work in the industry).
Simply respond with "I understand, well if the other buyer backs out for any reason My offer for $72k stands. Thank you for your assistance, it has been a pleasure dealing with you". Blah blah (paraphrase).
You walk away and they usually come running (it's human nature... Same applies to woman of course
