W164 ML63 better sound = resonator delete or muffler delete?

Hi everyone who has a W164 ML63 (2007-2011),

Do you delete the resonator or delete the muffler to have a better loud sound?

Which one is better for our W164 ML63?

Thank you !

Definitely do resonator delete. Muffler delete will be too loud even for an ardent fan and will drone

Can you confirm to me if this is the right sound after removing the resonator?

Is resonator delete will cause an error message?
And also, will it consume more gas?

NO and NO
Removing the catalyst converters will cause an error.

There will be no error if you know what you are doinf. I have removed CATs on both my ML55s and on ML63. Not a single code if you use O2 sensor adapters

My ML550 muffler delete and replaced with 20” chambered pipes

No drone or other nasty noise. Awesome sounds!
