i'd love this if it just integrated seamlessly with my pre-existing stock speakers and sub. didnt you need additional equipment to make it work? or at least a new sub?

No u don't. I just got mine installed on Friday. If you have the BOSE system, they just bypass the BOSE amplifier in the trunk.

all they have to do is bypass the bose system am using this unit With my Stock Door Speakers i added a sub with amp for MORE BASS!

you are asking a lit bit high....i have a friend owne C55 w/out navi in option...he has the same navi system u have....he spent about 1000 included everything you have and install fee in California , city of west covina area.

very interested, do the steering wheel controls still work & how hard is install. I installed a comand myself is it harder than that?

yes it will work in your car and NO it wont work with you Stock CD changer

for the steering wheel controls to work you will have to purchase PIONEER CA-R-PI.131 but this is for 2001-2004 cars and PIONEER CA-R-PI.133 for
2005+cars its not that hard to install only if you have the BOSE system then you will have to Run a new set of wires from the head unit to the rear of the car where all the door speaker wires are located and you will have to bypass the bose amp you can do a search in the W203 Forum it has all the info on how to install it!
