Hello! This is Tripp from Winnetka, IL. Thanks for the opportunity to join MB Forum! I currently drive a 2011 X5 5.0 and the wife has a 2010 GLK. Previously, I had a RR Sport. I've recently become obsessed w the G wagon. I'm fairly certain it's the greatest truck on the planet. I look forward to gleaning all I can from MB enthusiasts around the world!

1999 black w220
Hello. Im Alexander, I just got my fathers old 1999 black w220 (s500) with 41, 500 miles on it. I plan to change some things with it. Possibly updating the front end to the 2005 version, lights and grille, and what not. I have also been thinking of putting on the w221 bumper, but who knows. If possible I may even put a whole w221 front end on.
At the moment I have no pictures will post some up eventually.

When is your car getting in? I bet you will be happy when itshows up. This is a diesel Right? I had a 240D years ago cool little car but Ihated the black oil.

I am in a love hate relationship with my car now.I can not wait for the day that it hits the road without me worring if it will get me back home.

Yes. Special order. We decided to get a couple of options that aren't real common. Added the alcontara sport interior, and the MB-tex wrapped dashboard. It will be Obsidian black, with the 20" rims and a panoramic roof. Here in the Bay Area, the weather is pretty mild. We may take a few trips to Tahoe every year, so the 4matic will come in handy in the snow.

1999 SLK 230K

Hello. My name is Mike and I own a 1999 SLK230K. I have owned this car for a while and would like to start doing some tuning on it. I plan to put in a Powerchip next week and I am interested in other performance mods. As you know, some performance parts are hard to find for this model. I would eventually like to add a cold air intake (if anybody makes one), a header and exhaust system, and a pulley kit. I have been lurking for a while looking for information. I finally had to join when I saw an old post offering a Carlsson CK23 kit for $900. I wish I had been around for that deal. Any advice on tuning will be appreciated.

2002 c240
I'm changing my valve cover gasket on my 2002 c240 but I'm having a hard time pulling the pcv out on the left (driver side), there is two of them. And both of them are very frigid. Is there an easy way since the fuel rail is blocking the way? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Have enjoyed reading and learning valuable info here since I bought my 2011 E63 a couple of years ago.
In Jan this year I got a new Tesla P85 and was expecting to get rid of my E63. As much as I love driving the Tesla, I couldn't part with the naturally aspirated fire breathing dragon E63 - it is black/black tuned by RENNtech along with several other mods by RENNtech and Technicar in West Palm Bch.
Two very different cars that I've found it's ok to be passionate about both!
