2001 CLK 430
New Merc Owner
HI,
I am new to the world of Mercedes after a loyal stint with BMW which are great cars.
I am in Australia and have purchased second hand a 2000 CLK 430 and I am the second owner of this vehicle with only 132000 km
Its a project car that I intend to also race around a social club race track.
So far its a great car with some minor niggles as expected.
I look forward to learning alot from this site which has already provided me with invaluable insights.

Hi I am new to this but have driven a benz for 11 years and my newest one is an 08 CLS 350 CGi with 35000 mls in black - super car!

Hi. I'm Marvin in rainy Oregon. Not a M-B owner, but it is one of the several cars I am considering purchasing. Much depends on guaranteed delivery date which is unaccountably difficult for M-B corporation and dealers to cope with.
Followup: Ordered a 550i in white with light upholstery. With luck, it will be reasonably reliable.

Hello Forum, just purchased my first MB its a 2003 CL500 with the sports package. I'm still getting use to it but so far I'd have to admit its an impressive automobile. I'm happy I discovered this forum and can't wait to get started!

Have been assosciated with MB cars since the age of 7.My fathers First was a Ponton 190, followed by a Fintail 190, 220/8, 250SE and 280SE.
My own cars from my student days have been a VW beetle 1500, alfa Romeo, MB 200 W123, MB 200T W123, 260E W124, 300TE24 W124,S320, CL600, E320 estate W211, SLK 230, SLK 200, CL 500. Various VW Golfs, new Beetle and skoda Octavia.
Current cars E 320 estate, SLK 200 and CL 500.
Have been guest on this forum looking for information on the CL 500 suspension and now heater valve on the E320 - duovalve seems stuck.

After years of protesting I gave in and bought a Benz,after years of driving other peoples..from a 190 to a 600 ......for those of you who have a chance go and :
1.Visit the MB factory in Stuttgart and also watch a crash test.....will make you
cry.
2. You dont know what speed and highways are until you drive down the Auto Bahn at 165 'km plus.....

Hi, I'm Curt from Dal, Norway. I had a 1999 C180, bought in 2000. Traded it in March this year for my dream car, an E270 Avantgarde CDI, 2003 model. Sofar, she's been real Nice to me, but today the ACoff sign kept blinking and the AC didn't come on. Well, I search for ideas here at this forum and found a few options I want to try. Service I got 1400.00 to fix a engine light on Ian my car the diagnostic was a misfire in one oaf the cylinders coil was fixed and 6 miles driving after the fixture the engine light turn on again return to correct fixed again and left 3 days after the problem return very upset for eat I got and for what I paid called mechanic for my other cars problem found and cost me only $40.00 and a new coil. Very disappointed
