hello to everybody
i've been registered here since i bought my 2001 c200 kompressor last July 2013. Until now, trying to search in the forum if the problem in my car has a similar issue here.

Hey everyone, new to the site. Had my 2008 C350 Sport since 10/2/07 (not that I remember the exact day I bought my beauty) and have loved it for every one of the 72k miles on it!
I'm trying to get a few issues solved and so far the threads on here are simply amazing for guys like me (who don't usually handle too much of their car by themselves). Already found how to replace fog lights, front headlights, etc. so thanks everyone for posting their DIY projects and support!

1998 Mitsubishi Lancer GLi
G'day everyone! New member here, checking in from Sydney, Australia. I don't currently own a Merc, but my dad always has, so I feel like I'm already part of the family. Looking to upgrade from my first car (Mitsubishi Lancer, don't hate me) to an AMG 8-cylinder. I've got a lot of reading/researching to do, but I'm leaning towards either a CLK55 or SLK55 at this point. I've got plans to tastefully modify whatever it is I end up with, mainly the exhaust system and slightly lowered suspension.
I've already had a look through various threads concerning both of the aforementioned models, and I'm astounded by how affordable these cars are for those of you in the US! Cars I've been looking at that are around $40k are barely reaching $15k stateside...

Hello and welcome Jars121. MB prices depends on a lot of things but it really is a bit more pricey here down under than stateside. Its just how it is. Goodluck with owning your first MB! I thnk you cant go wrong either way. Just make sure you get a REVS check on the car before you commit. And go to an independent MB shop to get inspected.

Newbie looking for pre-purchase tips re W126 560 SEL
From a family of longtime W126 owners, I'm finally looking at one for myself. I found a very clean, but very dusty 1986 560 SEL with only 130,000 miles. It's been garaged, dormant, for YEARS (10+). Still has the original For Sale sign ($6,000) in the window. Not sure what they're asking now. What special challenges and/or negotiating chips does this lengthy dormancy present? What precautions ought be taken before test starting? Looking to bring it back to life as a daily driver. Thanks in advance!

2006 S 350
New to MBWorld, but not to Mercedes-Benz
Hello, all - I have lurked here in the past, and am now a member. My first car in high school was a BWW 316, in Germany, but I soon learned that I am a Benz guy, and came to the good side. My family owned a 280 SEL in Germany, then back in the States I purchased and restored a 1972 220 D. I now, as of last week, am the happy owner of a 2006 S 350. I'm looking forward to driving it and learning more about it here.

Hello All New W123 owner
Hello all! I just bought my first Diesel for my son to take to College. It's a 1978 240D or W123 whatever is correct. Rear calipers were seized, some fuel leaks from aging hoses. Only 138k miles. Now my son decided he doesn't really want the car. Yup, all mine now.

I have just bought my dream Mercedes this year. Diamond White 350 ML MG Sports Bluetec 2014 model.
It is very quiet inside the cabin. Very little road noise. Had paint protection with Star Guard ( I am sure it will protect it from rain water as it will be parked in my drive).
Love the Hermon Kardon stereo Dolby sound system, Comand and the Reversing Camera. The Nappa leather seats are very comfortable.
Thank you people at Tuscaloosa Alabama and Stuttgart Germany where it was made and designed.
I don't understand why the MB factory in Vance, Tuscaloosa, Al is surrounded on either side by a Cemetery, On one side Hopewell and and on the other side evergreen. I have seen the MB site on street View on google Map. Thank you google.
The file size allowed is so small that I can't upload its picture.

I've been lurking here ever since, relying on you guys to help diagnose problems and steer me in the right direction when I'm bold enough to try a repair myself.
Thought I ought to join up, mostly to say Thank You for such an awesome resource. Hopefully in the near future I'll be able to contribute something, in an effort to give back.

I'm new on this site and live in London.
I just bough an s55 September 2004.
The sat nav works fine but the tv doesn't work an my iPhone would not connect to the comand system even though the comand system finds my iPhone blue tooth and says connected.
Any ideas how to connect things to this system?
And any idea where the aux is in this car?
