Hi all, my name is Gary Larkin and I live in Bowling Green, KY and have a 1982 389SL. I would actually like to fix it up and then sell it, since I don't really have time to enjoy or work on it. As you probably would agree that setting and not driving is a big enemy of these great cars. I am currently having issues with a very slow acceleration and engine missing at high revs that I want to fix. The car runs very slow but on top end will cruise. I am going to also work on the Odometer (which I just broke by resetting it in motion (Dumb me). I just put a new spark modular and coil on it just to get it running, but it now runs really bad. I will search the site, but if anyone has any ideas that would be great. I had someone put new spark plugs in the car, so they may have messed up the firing order. So I will check that out too. Here watching Wheeler Dealer and they have one similar to mine that they are working on.

enjoying Lake Tahoe in my 2007 clk550 with a Kleemann k2 upgrade. rims off a 09 cl600 19' off-set 225/35/19 and 255/30/19... top speed was 133 now ??pulls you in the seat for a N/A motor. trouble free driving for the last 3 years...dropping her 1.5' when i do suspension/ shock and maybe new pipes to give her a lil better sound. any suggestions would be nice . thanks

Greetings all. I have just joined this forum in order to learn more about our Certified 2015 E350 here in Southern California. This is our very first MB, having owned BMW, MAZDA, HONDA, NISSAN over the years. This is our first German built(other than the BMW)! We love the craftsmanship and "tightness" of this car. Hoping for years of enjoyment from it and will welcome any tips, suggestions, warnings, etc. that may apply to this particular model.
