Please Be Gentle, It’s My First Merc
Saying hi everyone - for better or worse (I strongly hope better), I took the plunge and got me my first Merc - a ‘12 W212 E550 Sedan with less than 85K miles on it. It seemed out of place, lonely even, up for sale at a non-MB dealership, and after 3 hours of inspecting and an hour of test driving, I couldn’t really pass it up. Looking forward to an enriching love-hate relationship with it, and a hopefully more love-centered experience with all y’all MB lovers, enthusiasts, and experts out there.
Full disclosure: I’ve more professional, mechanical, and personal experience with the other European brand with a B and an M in it, While I have not ever peeked under the bonnet of a Merc until recently. I will say the M278 looking back at me was equal parts intimidating and exciting at the same time.
Please be gentle - I will search and discover on my own, but apologies in advance if I inadvertently ask the silly “tourist” question here and there.
And most importantly, sending positivity to you through this whole COVID madness - please stay safe and healthy!

Just got my 2007 CLS 550 delivered today...
I GOT MY DREAM CAR TODAY AND I'M STILL IN AWE. I'VE WANTED ONE FOR ALMOST 7 YEARS NOW AND I FINALLY FOUND ONE THAT WAS CLEAN AND IN MY PRICE RANGE. ITS A 1 OWNER CAR AND WOW THE ACCELERATION IS UNBELIEVABLE. IVE DRIVEN BENTLEYS AND THIS FEELS JUST AS FAST AND THE HANDLING IS INSANE. IT DRIVES SO SMOOTH. NOTHING COMES CLOSE!!!! LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING FELLOW OWNERS AND TALKING ABOUT HOW AMAZING MERCEDES BENZ IS.

Hello
Hi
Adelaide based. Have a C43 coupe and a GLA 45 here, and over in NZ (I have a business there) a 2012 C63 with lots of tune and mods with a happy 528 RWHP
Having just traded my 2018 LS3 Walkinshaw mod SS, it's been a big leap down to a 6 cylinder. My idea is to use the C43 as a stepping stone into a 2-3 year old C63 in 6-12 months or so... Covid is playing havoc with finances though and I refuse to loan or finance cars, so playing my cards carefully at the moment (as I guess we all are)
Cheers

New here and looking for some help.
Hello all,
I'm looking for a body shop or both repair and body shop that works on classics for my 68 2080SL. I'm in Pittsburgh PA. Anybody here in the Pittsburgh area and have any advice?
A bonus would be a shop that also offers storage for a while but not an imperative.

Hi all, Western Massachusetts here.
Ive been lurking and asking a few questions as I figured out what I wanted.
My order is officially in for a 2021 E53 coupe in emerald green. Night package and most of the options.
I can’t wait for it. I was hoping to do a museum delivery but that’s out with Covid.
hoping to have it by the end of the year.

Hello all. My name is Will, and I'm a big time car nut. Grew up riding in my dad's Corvettes, but started in imports(Nissans, Mazdas, etc). Joined the Corvette family in 2006, and still own one I've had since 2011. That's not why I'm here though. I just gave a friend of 19 years, a check for his 2007 CLS550 that he's owned since new. I know the design isn't for everyone, but I have always loved it's curves(makes sense considering I love my '99 Corvette Hard top too for the same concept!) I look forward to learning everything I can here, and hopefully don't pester everyone too much for help along the way as a new owner. Be gentle! (I've also included a picture of my 700hp canyon carver)

Finally got my dream car ❤️
Hello everyone,
Finally found and bought my dream car. I’m still in awe of this beautiful vehicle and I still can’t believe it’s mine. I’ve always wanted a Mars red C63 AMG W204. 2013 with only 50k
Also these forums have helped me so much. Thank you!
*yes I know the paint has issues, but the paint one this one is beautiful.

2016 GLE 63S AMG SUV, 2015 GLA 250 (Previously: 2010 MB E550 (V8, 5.5L))
Hi, Phillip from Boston, MA area. I just joined the GLE AMG forum, originally joined the W212 forum, having owned an E550 since 2013. However, I don't know that I ever "introduced myself formally" at that time. This forum has been invaluable to me over the past 7 years, and I wish to thank everyone for your support with the endless questions and advice provided. Recently purchased a new to me 2016 GLE 63S SUV, one owner, mid-30s mileage. My first AMG vehicle, highly exhilarating and addictive experience!

Proud Mercedes Owner
My wife and I purchased two second hand Mercedes Benz cars. W203 AMG and an E320. Been using your site to learning more about the two cars
The E320 is beautiful and runs well whilst the W203 requires attention a I am getting errors and troubling a bit. However the sound is heaven performance outstanding.

Hello All,
Just purchased a 2008 E350 wagon with 28k miles, our first MB. I have been on the VW members site for years with a 74 Ghia (that I bought new) and a 75 Westfalia Camper that I continue to try and make better. Hoping to benefit from the MB community here and their experience. Thanks in advance.
