Hello new friends - Steve here from New Orleans. I found a gem last week and purchased Monday - a 2000 E55 that turned 36K miles driving away from the lot. Rough around the edges and has some hail damage, but the price was right and I now own my first MB. Drives very well, currently having new tires installed. Ready for a weekend of fluid changes and making laundry lists of things to repair or fix. I look forward to learning about this fine auto from you guys.

welcome to the forum steve...
that's low mileage for 2000 model...
My name is Alec. I recently purchased a 2004 E500, 45k miles! This car is loaded with every option except Distronic. Loving my first few weeks with the car.
I leased a 2013 GLK350 for a few years and loved that as well.
I work for a dealer in Colorado, I am new to the forum and was curious if I am allowed to advertise some of the special vehicles we have on our lot? I know there are plenty of MB enthusiasts on here and would love to get some of our vehicles in the hands of those who will truly appreciate the cars.
Tons of great info on this site, I look forward to being part of the online community!

We own a 2007 E320 Bluetec and have joined the forum for some advice!! Have owned the car since 2008 and it now has about 131,000 miles. For the last 6 months, the clean fuel filter message had been flashing intermittently. We have changed the filter 3 times, with the correct filter, reinstalling the water sensor in the new filter each time, but still get the message. Could it be a faulty fuel water sensor? Could it be indicating a problem elsewhere? Does this message have any other applications, i.e. could it be indicating a problem with the fuel pump filter? (We have a Mercedes engine on our boat that has a water separator/filter system and never a problem, but we can't seem to figure this one out).
Not sure where to post this question, so I thought I'd start here and you can tell me where to "go"!! Glad to be aboard and hoping someone can point us the right way!
Thanks!!

Reason: change replace to reinstall
What's up everyone! My name is Kyle and I live in Denver, CO. I recently just purchased a 2010 GLK 350 so I joined here to hopefully meet some other MB enthusiasts around me! Happy to be here!
This pic was from the first week I had the vehicle, since then I have painted over all the chrome and made it black!

Hello everyone, my name is Will and I live in San Dimas CA. I own a 2000 S430, and this is my current car. Having owned many other models before I got this car including the SEC 500, this S430 is also my most problematic Mercedes I have ever owned. As you can see my user name is tiredoffit, (tired off it) all the things what can go wrong is possible embedded in this car. From the airmatic to the suspension, brakes, electronics, soft close, trunk lid, remote opening and closing the car, it's has not be a fun ride so far. Although the car still drives very nice, I do not want to put anymore money in this car. Having replaced all 4 struts with Arnott ones, less then 2 years ago, I still have problems with it. It was fine for about 1.5 year, now the car drops down again in the rear and I mean all the way down. The strange things is though, if I use the button on the dash to raise the car, then the car will stay up, but if I forget to use that, then the rear of car drops within an hour all the way down. The car must drive lob sided because all my tires are destroyed and they are 1.5 years old. I am considering to get rid of this car, or part it out which will give me more money then selling it. If any of the kind forum members has any suggestions on what is going on with my airmatic, please let me know I would appreciate any input, before I dismiss this car like a bad habit.
Just bought my first Mercedes. A 2015 Mercedes Benz c300 4matic with 2.0 turbo. Only 500 miles so far but very impressed with build and ride quality. Hope to have many years of enjoyment.
