Hi
I'm Paul (from Nova Scotia) and just bought a new (to me) Mercedes C 300 4Matic with 15,000 km. This is my first ever Mercedes so hope it will be my best car yet.
It still has some warranty on it (Until April) so would appreciate any thoughts on whether I should purchase the extended warranty. Look forward to being part of this community.
Hello! I’ve just bought a new A200 Sedan here in Chile!
My A200
I love the car but there is an issue: We don’t have Mercedes Online Services activated here. Any hack (like using satellital comm, international 4G chips or whatever you can imagine) or, as I’ve asked on this thread, any contact on the dealership structure of Daimler or MB will be really appreciated!
Hello! Great to be on here finally. I'm here today specifically for help with my grandpa's 2007 S550 4matic. I'll make a more detailed post in the W221 thread. We went on a drive today, and what seems to be separate systems started going haywire during the drive. Engine, red battery, ABS, ESP lights going off, power steering issues, some shaking, and weak acceleration and little to no reverse ability (sometimes!). The car actually cut off during the drive but we were able to restart. Luckily we were close to his house, called MB Roadside and had it towed to MB Manhattan. Not to mention the first recent symptom was the AC. It chooses to not work some days. While all this was going on, the AC worked today of all days. Also, today was the first time the COMMAND went completely blank. It's really a strange phenomenon, I guess after 13 years with little problems, we knew this day might come. Hopefully, it's not as expensive as it seems to be or as complicated of an issue. I have a feeling it's computer related. My dad thinks it's as simple as the belt, and I should've waited for him to come see it before we decided to tow it lol. Any guidance would be appreciated! I'd like to have some background knowledge before the dealer calls me about the situation tomorrow. Thank you very much, and I hope everyone is well and safe!

Hello,
I just noticed a plastic flap hanging down from my 2006 R350. It does not look serious but am trying to find out what it is and where to order a replacement. Have tried many different variations on Google to try describe the plastic flap but I have not been able to find out what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’m sure they’ll know at the dealership; might consider taking it there. Just a thought.

Even though the comand nav is 200% then the standard system, I couldn't resist installing an android head unit. More about that in a thread I will open..
My hobbies are reading, resquework with my dog, and carracing, I drive a Lotus Sunbeam and a Lotus Esprit Turbo..
My husband as a Mercedes Vito, and since beginning this year a youngtimer : a sl55amg from 2003

hi from Australia!
I joined the MB family a couple months ago with a 2015 A200.
Had always pictured myself in an Audi A4 or similar, but splashed a little more cash and got myself a Merc!
...and still can't wipe the smile off my face when I drive it

I'm anxious to bring it back to like new condition. I have many questions and happy that I found your site. The enthusiast on this forum are very knowledgeable and informative. It will be great to interact with others that have such a passion for their cars.

Brand new to the forum my name is Mark i live in upstate NY . Great to here all the stories and follow all the interesting facts about the unbelievable classic machines . Well anyways I have a friend who purchased a 1997 Diesel G wagon and wants to sell it . I tried everyone I know to find out what it is worth or if I could compare it to to get a price and they all had no idea or even heard of one in the US. I did some research and a insurance guy who’s wife works at DMV said 2 years ago there was one other registered in the US? He said he bought it from importer from Germany and was a military model? It has a Brabus package as far as body kit goes but not The performance mods. Now it has a very heavy duty undercarriage and goes great down the highway and is very tight for a 1997 with 123k. My question is what is it worth and does anyone know anything about theseOr even seen one? I would love to get it off him. I just sold my 2014 G wagon and this is way cooler looking and I love the old school look it has . Please chime in with any info I know you all have the expertise and may have heard of or seen one I could not find anything on the web about this model anywhere . This is it 1997 G wagon with Brabus kit What’s it worth? 97 diesel G Wagon She made this book up and said it might be the wrong model number I wasn’t sure experts chime in anxious to here back Thanks for your help

Hi. This is just the generic welcome to new members section. For the information you are seeking, you need to post something in the model specific section. Other folks with G Wagons are much more likely to be able to respond to your questions and they may never see your post in this section.
