C63
Hi, Matthew from New Albany, IN. New to the forum, but not Merc. Just bought a 2011 C63 base model. I have the eurocharged tune sitting at home ready to start on this weekend. 104k miles and a 5 year 60k mile warranty on it. Came here so I can search for questions that may arise. Thanks for having me.

Potential new team MB member!
Hi all
I'm Ash from Staffordshire, England currently own a BMW 1 series
I don't know for my next car to have a 3 series F chassis m sport or a C class amg line premium plus
Both would need to be diesel and auto, and have two kids so needs to be practical enough too,
Tell me why I should join the dark side?

Ready to order my 2nd MB!
Hi, I'm Dana from Maine!
I purchased my 2018 C300 Coupe 4Matic in Dec 2017. I have over 55,000 miles already and am ready to order a new one. That is where I am TORN! I'm torn between performance and comfort. I have always appreciated performance and speed but I do live in Maine and we have our share of potholes, gravel roads, etc. and I often drive 1-2 hours each way to or from.
I have never owned a 4 door, so I'm looking at the E450 Coupe. But I do love the ride and look of the CLS450 Coupe (ok, 4 door, so it's not a coupe in MY book!) and would love a GT53 one day! I would love the E53 but they do NOT make it with a heated steering wheel. And with as much driving as I do, year round, I want that heated wheel (I thought about the C63 but no heated wheel). So I haven't driven the AMG other than a friend's C43, to know if it's going to ride rougher than I want on our Maine roads or if the performance, despite lack of heated wheel, are a no brainer regardless.
Right now I have a 2022 build spot on hold for an E450 coupe with night package in Graphite Grey metallic with pretty much all options.
So confused!

Just picked up a gently used 2019 E53 Sedan with under 10K miles on it... still anxiously awaiting delivery. One major reason for the purchase was the relative Jeryl & Hide nature of it. By no means is it the power of a 63... but the combination of inline 6 and the mild hybrid system with electric compressor has enough to make it fun for me when in Sport+... yet throw it in comfort and it should be a softer ride for the wife and kids than my current vehicle. Interior is in Nut Brown Nappa with carbon fiber (a combination I wouldn't have thrown together in a configurator but love how it looks in... well thus far pictures) and when you add in all the other options in the car I just couldn't pass it up.
Purchased from MB dealer in Tacoma, WA so delivery to me will likely be another week or so but upon receipt I'll be getting XPEL applied to the front end... some mild window tints... and WeatherTechs (kid protection.) The stock Perellis will be something to address as well... already been looking at Michelin PS4s or Continental ExtremeContact Sport (as they've done well on my current vehicle.) Anyway... just joined the forum and I'm looking forward to more discussions on the car... experiences... add on bits... and maybe tuning.

Nice new ride!!! Enjoy it! Quick -- newbie -- question...what exactly is XPEL and how does it play out if you only apply it to part of the car? Thanks!!!

Partial Frontal: Partial Hood, Partial Fenders, Full Bumper, Headlights, Foglights
Full Frontal: Full Hood, Full Fenders, Full Bumper, Headlights, Foglights, Mirrors
Full Frontal+: Full Hood, Full Fenders, Full Bumper, Headlights, Foglights, Mirrors, Rocker Panels (Front & Rear), A-Pillars and leading edge of roof, Rear Bumper
Full Body
Some films have a tendency to yellow when exposed to the sun over a period of time... XPEL has a good reputation for not doing so... which is clutch on a white car.

Hello everybody!
I have been on this forum for some time as a reader, now I decided to register and become an official member of your company.
I am interested in exploring new things, watching basketball (sometimes playing), I also play ukulele a little.
Anyway, nice place you got here, keep it up!

My first Benzo - '18 E400 4Matic
What's up guys, new here and just bought my first Mercedes-Benz (the interior sold me). There is soooo much to learn on this forum; it's almost overwhelming, but I am looking forward to the info. I bought a 2018 E400 4Matic and it's such a comfortable and beautiful ride. Unfortunately, I had the car for a little over a month and I am not awaiting the engine to be replaced (due to the intake of water).
Again, this seems like a legit community with vast knowledge.

Thanks man, what do you have?
We had torrential rain storm that lasted like 15 minutes. I had to go like 15mph and a street flooded; the engine 'sucked up' a lot of water. I was told it was a flaw, but the new Engine is on its way!

So you had to drive through a flooded street? How deep was the water? Sounds horrible, again, sorry to hear this happened. This might be a dumb question -- but if it was a flaw -- was this covered by warranty?
Thanks again and good luck!

Wow! What a disappointment. I had that happen to a Toyota and learned my lesson there. The water penetrated the seals on the CV joints, differential, and transmission. I had to replace the entire transaxle.
Based on the license plate frame in the pics it looks like you’re in the Houston area. Those shower bursts can put a foot of water in the streets. I try to find a high spot when it happens. Most of my family has given up and bought SUVs and pickups.
