Hi Murray! Welcome! Nice benz! If ever you need some wheel/exhaust mods we're your guys!
I have owned my 1967 Fintail since 1985, and now have a few others in the stable... 1967 230 Fintail (W110) 1967 250SE (W108) 1972 280SE 3.5 (W108) 1979 280SE (W116) 1983 500SEL (W126)
I'm a life-long Mercedes Nut, so please be gentle
Sir, I strive to avoid envy and focus on character and experience. However, I am unashamedly envious of your collection. Bravo.
I guess I'll just post the intro here instead that I was going to post as a new thread.
I'm coming from the Mustang world, although not the good part of it 😂 I've had multiple 3.7 V6 Mustangs and I was the first in the world to do a fully functional daily driven twin turbo setup on a 3.7 Mustang. I was also the first person to really test the longevity of boost with the stock drivetrain and daily drive with 600whp+. Then I got bored and wanted more, so I went from small hidden twin turbos and stock drivetrain to a built block, built trans, and big single turbo setup good for 800whp+. And... Then I got bored again.
So now here I am with a 2013 E550 4Matic sedan, telling myself to leave it alone and enjoy the luxury & comfort, while also telling myself I can turn it into a 9 second car if I want to. I'm trying to ignore myself, I just don't know which "myself" to ignore yet 😂
At the very least, I have a few custom plans for the exterior and interior. A friend of mine does custom carbon work, and he and I came up with a completely custom forged carbon pattern that we dubbed "Volcanic Ash" and I'm debating replacing all the wood/aluminum trim with forged carbon.
And, as I have a habit of naming all my cars, this one shall be no different. I have dubbed her Wulküre.
Anyway, here's pics of Wulküre, pics of the old mustang build, pics of one of the custom steering wheels my buddy and I did for one of my other mustangs, and a little preview of "Volcanic Ash"

Unfortunately there are pretty much zero options for the E550 sedan 😭 I am on the lookout for a local E63 catback but I know it's not likely that I'll find one
Just upgraded myself from the 2018 E300 to the 2022 AMG E53. I’m pretty excited about it. I’m looking to just meet new people and maybe even make some friends, and talk about our vehicles and share information and such. My names Austin hope to hear from some of you! Bought and paid for! Her name’s midnight. Her 1st wash

I also came from the Mustang world... Owned several 5.0 L Mustangs, 2019-2020, then an Ecoboost. Gave it all up for the MB World and am so happy that I did. Bought a 2016 C300 4 Matic and fell in love at first sight! ❤️

Hi Austin! Congrats on your new ride! If ever you need some wheel mods; Let us know and were glad to help.
Hello all! I'm Jonathan. Currently living in Las Vegas. Below are a couple of quick pics of my new-to-me 2002 R129 SL500. It's the third Benz I've owned. Learned to drive on a 1963 220s FinbackW111 (family owned from 1969 to about 1983 finally retired with 220K miles original engine and transmission!), a 1993 190E 2.6 W201 (totaled in an accident in 2001), and now my bucket list R129!
From my day of purchase Roof off (pic from sellers listing)
Haven't named her yet. Just under 60k original documented miles, never in an accident, and now being fully sorted. Next job is the top hydraulics.
Hey all, I'm Andre and drive a 2018 C300 base, thank you for the welcome and I look forward to conversing with you all. Here is my C300 i call her Coco
My name is Rob and I'm from New Jersey. Bought my first Benz about 9 months ago. It's a 2003 e320 sport. I don't know much about German cars and am excited to learn as much as I can.
