Hello! I live in Phoenix Arizona and just traded in an M550ix BMW for a 2016 S550. What a phenomenal automobile! I'm getting used to the largeness of the car but in terms of engineering, this vehicle is awesome! Still need to wean myself into 'big boat' mindset and am driving in sport mode, but I love my car so far! I bought it with 46,000 miles and the only thing I'd like to replace is the driver seat cushion. Anyone know the best place to purchase one of those other than the dealer?

Live in Toronto and drive a '20 E450 Wagon. Setup with roof bars and often a cargo box to haul the adventure gear around. The jump seats are a hit around here with the kiddos.

What's upcoming: Eurocharged Stage 1 and a Stealth Hitch install for the bike racks this summer.

I have a membership that is so old on this site (circa mid 2000’s) that I have forgotten my old username.
My email at the time was most likely hueyslick@att.net, although AT&T no longer supports that email, as I am no longer a customer.
Back then, the forum was very helpful finding radio codes for my 320. I was and still am very grateful.

Are your 1984 380SL with M117 motor and 2008 R350 4matic, California compliant? The reason I am asking is because when window shopping (surfing the internet) I avoid considering cars out of California. I just assume they have the more strict environmental engine controls, and sacrifice power as well as a measure of economy.

Yes, I have snuck a same year 500SEL motor into my 380SL and it is California smog compliant. The car is not from California originally and has a good amount of corrosion. Still runs good though.
