What's in a intro?

William, in Canada, more precisely Alberta. Not new to the brand (use to own a 1989 420SEL), but currently am with a new (to me) 1999 CLK 320 Cabriolet, and I'm sure I'll be learning a thing or two within these forums.
Starting with ..... why oh why doesn't it seem to be a definitive answer to a proper full scanner that works with OBDII and includes the needed 38 pin adapter! Well I'm still reading up on that one and maybe .... just maybe ... I might have the answer.

I currently own a W211 E500 4M from 2006, before I had a W203 C240 which I regret selling every single day but life goes on... First Mercedes I owned was a W123 and I totally fell in love with that car but unfortunately the engine was in very poor shape so I got a W201 with the 2 liter diesel engine.

Hello from Illinois. I just bought a certified pre-owned 2024 GLE 450 that had been used as a dealer courtesy car with 3700 miles on it. I sold my 2014 ML350 that had 167000 trouble free miles on it. If the GLE comes close, we'll be happy campers. The new one is on the left.

Hi.
I am in the UK and am on my 3rd E-class estate / wagon - my 2nd W211 - the first was a W210.
Wanted a car with 7 seats - not an SUV or people carrier / MPV - and E-class wagon / kombi / estate with the 2 pop-up seats in the trunk / boot is the only car I could find in the Uk that fitted the bill (and my somewhat limited budget!).
Current W211 is a 2007 with 140k miles, last 40k by me over the last 5 years.
Trying to look after the car as best I can as is daily driver family transport - but trying to avoid shop costs where possible.
I am not an experienced mechanic, but am trying my hand and learning (or trying to!) as I go.
Thanks for you feedback. I believe it’s the pulley not sure which one yet untill I have it looked at. But based on my research, I’m about 90%sure that’s causing the noise. Look forward to chatting it up!

Hi, my name is Kevin. I own a 2013 ml350 4matic. Overall I have had a very good experience with my Mercedes. In the past I have preformed some minor repairs or more like a parts that needed to be replaced. Now I am having a little problem figuring out where my Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 Downstream is located. I was checking on utube and they were all over the place and nobody had the exact year and model of my Mercedes! Can sombody please help me out on this?
New to me a 2019 C300 4Matic very well optioned.
Coming from a 2019 BMW 330xi Touring (Wagon) that unfortunately drowned in the recent floods.
About 2 weeks into it, loving it so far.
Wish things it had;
- Heated steering (currently has the flat bottom)
- Side bolsters adjustability (loved it in the Bimmer, hugged you tight)
- Brown interior - LOL
Looking to do;
- Lower it a bit more even though it already has sport springs from factory (advise on wagon specific springs is appreciated)
- Front lip (facelift versions seem to have less options)
- Bit more aggressive rear diffuser
- Small wing
- 18/19 Strong and Light Wheels but Merc offsets are so high that interchangeability is difficult despite VW/Audi/BMW all being 5x112 ET 66.6
- Possible valvetronic exhaust (not spending armytrix money though)

I'm looking to do a few more mods so I'll need info as I'm new to the MB world.
