I have always relied on this great forum to bring back to perfect condition my SL500. It's been a steep learning curve but I thanks to this forum I am navigating the intricacies of this great driving machine.
So happy to have found this forum. My name is Shaiza, I live in Los Angeles. I just leased a 2024 EQE 350V. So far I love it. It's my first lease, my first nice car, and my first electric car. So a lot of firsts. I am excited but nervous, and eager to learn more.

Been reading on the forums for quite some time now, it’s only right to make a proper introduction to the platform. I’m Robert owner of both w211 and a c55 amg definitely remarkable vehicles never was in my sight to ever own a Mercedes they just appeared both at different times and I made the purchases. And here I am now being a part of this community.

Picking up my new CLE53 AMG in Alpine grey this Saturday. I change almost every year and can't wait for this one! Hellcat, RS5 and CS8 have been my last fun choices. Never had a MB and fell in love as soon as I saw her.

I am generally a lurker, but have learned a lot of good information on this board, so figured registering is the least I can do. A few months ago, I purchased a new to me 2018 C63s AMG with way too many mods, which of course ended up needing work after I purchased it because I like post-purchase inspections better than pre-purchase inspections.
Next to do's are raising it back up to stock height, put some new 275/305's on it to get some traction!

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum but I am no stranger to Mercedes. My first was a 1980 450SL in Arctic White, not a day goes by that I regret parting ways. My second was 2004 C230 Kompressor that I inherited from my grandmother when she passed. About two years ago I thought it was a perfect time to pick up one of my dream Mercedes chassis the R129. Of course I had to get the same year as my born year a 1998 SL500 although I do prefer earlier models body style especially the two tone variants. A couple months ago I did a full swap of the lower half of the body with a 94’ in azure blue pearl to have a unique two tone color combination of black and blue. It’s been nothing but a pleasure to own one, unfortunately two days ago a jeep gladiator reversed into me full throttle. I guess my R129 was out of sight considering the ride height difference between our cars. He didn’t want to get insurance involved which I understand, he agreed to pay for the damages out of pocket so tomorrow I will be getting quotes from multiple body shops. I just wanted to check in and see if it’s worth the repair cost or if I should just invest in a new car. It still runs perfectly fine but cosmetically she’s looking bent out of shape. I’ll attach some images of before and after the accident. Also I don’t know if I should post this into the new members thread or better an R129 thread so excuse my excitement to finally be posting on the forum. Thank you all! Hello, Rob here on Long Island. I had a 2005 SL500 and loved it. I regret selling it back in 2012 but now is a good time to get a SL55. I am working with a seller now and hopefully it comes together for his black 2007. I don't like the wheels on his car now and have been looking for days online for a set. I liked the Rodericks I had in this picture and wouldn't mind getting them again in 19" not 20" but it doesn't seem like they are available.

I also posted this to the A238 forum. Hi All, Proud owner now of 2015 E400 cabriolet. Took five years to find the replacement for our 2004 CLK 320 cabriolet that was totaled by chipmunks and mice one winter. :-( Kept trying out AMG versions of the 2004 because I loved that year (and the Bose stereo). My very trusted mechanic couldn't give me a thumbs up on any of the AMGs--I wanted the power more than anything. Decided to change my search filter and what do you know but Carmax had this baby. (Funny side note, didn't know until we lost the 2004 that my wife hated the silver color. So that affected the search as well.) Well worth the wait. 329 HP twin turbo. Dream ride. It's very fast 0-60 but even faster 60-100! Our first MB was a yellow SmartCar cabriolet that we named YELLOW SUMMERBEAN. Next was the CLK, then a GLK and now a GLC for my wife. I love MBWorld but first time I ever wrote. Very happy to be here. (We're in the Chicago area.) Thanks!
