2010 CLS 550 Hoping to find some help with a rear end wobble on my wife's car. I recently replaced the carrier assembly and converted the car to coil over suspension from Strutmasters. After doing so noticed a left and right wobble when you hit a bump or a wet spot in the road. my first thought was alignment. but after having a four wheel alignment done the wobble persists. Is it possible that becasue I used a 2 post lift and tightened all the control arm bolts with the suspension extended that when the car is returned to the normal ride height the bushings are torqued and causing a spring action. Just thinking outside the box. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

My experience is that suspension control arm bolt are torqued in the unladen condition. This means at curb weight, the bushing exerts a torque on the suspension. In the big picture, the bushing torque is a minor contributor to supporting the weight of the car. This is done by the spring, whether steel or air.
What is your definition of "wobble"? What exactly are you experiencing? Are you certain the wheel bolts are tightened correctly? Try posting this in the CLS forum, there will likely be more responses.
Hi, my name is Cindy. I just purchased my first MB, an AMG GLE 43. I had a hard time deciding between a fully optioned 400, or the 43. Finally decided not to pay for a bunch of options I would probably never use and instead enjoy the slightly better performance of the 43. My dream car is an AMG GT-C. I grew up in an auto body repair shop, owned by my parents, and have always been a car nut. Having driven big block, 4 speed muscle cars since I first started driving, I am most appreciative of the attention to detail, quality of finishes and pure luxury of MB.
Hello just a quick note that I just joined and I purchased a CPO ML350BT a couple of months ago so far love the power, torque, smoot ride and luxurious comfort it offers. Took it on a couple of long 4+ hr road trips and I was impressed with the driving experience, performance and overall impression of the ML350BT.

Hi Just migrated to Mercedes from running MG for 33 years, still have a few but main drive is now a petrol C200 premium in Bright Metalic blue with night package. Just getting to grips with all the tech, very impressed, except fuel economy that is but it is still low milage and not used to driving with a light right foot

I have an '06 320cdi which I LOVE, and decided when it came time to replace my Ford Explorer, that I'd get a diesel MBZ SUV.
I was perusing the site, looking for advice on winter tires since my location is prone to ice and occasional snow in the winter, (mostly rain), living as I do in the PNW (Oregon).

Hello from Texas. After 15 years of driving Lexus RXs, I switched to MB with a 2019 GLE400 4MATIC. Having problems with navigation audio volume. Radio won't mute and can barely hear directional announcements.

Drives like a dream . Everything works but I’m afraid to use anything other than the climate control and radio LOL . I’m just enjoying the quiet cabin and smooth power .

Can anyone tell me why the Star-tester doesn't not find my car at all? Why is the new water-cooled aternator not charging? The airmatic doesn't work eather but that I think is because of the alternator not working. Also I have put in a new battery already. Pls, help.
