Welcome New Members
New to the forum. Recently bought a 2023 EQS SUV 450 4matic. I'm in the SoCal area. Officially my 2nd MB. I owned a 1999 E300 TurboDiesel for a year. Gift from family member that was meticulously taken care of, but I it still needed $5K in upkeep int he year I owned it. We'll see how the EQS treats me.

My name is Daniel. I recently bought my dream car about a week ago… 2013 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG from Dallas, TX and drove it all the way to Vermont before getting stuck in the snow from 2 am until 11 am. Then had to get it towed home from NY to Boston, MA which took another 3 hours. All in all, glad to make home with my baby safe and sound, in one piece.
Unfortunately, it came with an oil leak (seems to be splattering all over) & no catalyst converter which is needed to pass state inspection of course. Any recommendations on finding one?
Also, my mechanic says I need to replace the harmonic balancer - crankshaft pulleys. In addition, to the, valve cover and gasket, and cam position sensor. On top of that, it has no traction, I do need to replace the tires which I’m about to do, but I’m sliding all over the place as if it doesn’t have any grip.
Lastly, it didn’t come with an owners manual or a spare tire. I’ve been hearing mix reviews about that, but is it true that it already doesn’t come with a spare tire?
Please help any possibilities, positive suggestions, tips and advice is more than appreciated!
Thank you so much for reading and God bless!

I did find MBWorld very helpful at that time and I'm sure it will be helpfull now as well.
For many years I managed to fix my cars with no problems but now all the tech. is getting more and more cofusing and I'm from the days of crank and buttons so the computer is like a black magic for me and this is the area I will definitely be looking for help on this site.
Currently I'm residing in Poland
Today my chariot that I'm driving is GLC 220d X253 2017 I love it but not as much as my previous cars like the last two ML270 2002.
Unfortunately they were eaten by rust like many merc's from the past era.
Take care Softail1947

I’m new to MBworld, and to Mercedes ownership. I have owned and restored/maintained several BMW’s but decided to step into a new world by buying a SL350. Like many of these cars mine has the standard water feature in the boot and had fallen into the wrong part of “the trade”. This means it has been neglected, had the wrong consumer battery and a misfire. On the plus side it is only 64000 miles with service history and an motc, it was also cheap as the roof has an “intermittent” fault. How intermittent I do not know as it was delivered to my home on a trailer, parked on the drive and put out of service until I could check for damage to the BCM.
I have now got the BCM out and had a look and there seems to be a small amount of damage which should be fixable so here I am looking for a reliable repairer.
Once that’s sorted I can get stuck into all the other niggles and get to drive it properly.
