New to the Mercedes world! My last four “fun” cars have been an M3, C7 Vette, M4, then a C8 Vette. Wanted a fun car that I could enjoy a little bit longer in the year when it gets cold out. Living in WI really limited the C8’s time on the road, so traded it in yesterday for an AMG CLE 53! Looking forward to having some fun with it!
Hi and welcome to MBWorld! Thanks for sharing the pic. Looks great. Congratulations
Hello! My name is Joe Smith. Yes - that is real. At least it works in all the Motels
I recently purchased a 2013 E350 4Matic with 90,000 miles on the odometer. I plan on doing as many of the maintenance items and repairs when they are within my abilities. I have already started researching common issues. Any pointers on things to watch for with the M276.957 engine and 7 speed transmission will be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to making use of this valuable collection of knowledge and resources!

$1000 FINDERS FEE!! Need an 18’ e63s edition 1 with 40k miles or less for $70k or less. Can be on or off market. Feel free to email me at jack.obringer@gmail.com or text (not call) 913-620-3751
I have owned her for a year- I love the ride, fit and finish, however I already spent $5k on repairs and maintenance with another $2k to go.
It’s the best car I have ever owned (at 50+ I have owned a few including bmw e46) and also the most expensive to maintain. Yes I did knowingly buy a 20 year old German Mercedes, I just wasn’t ready for expensive unexpected repairs.
so- what is the vote of the forum on keeping it or letting it go?
The costly one was the bi-xenon headlight assembly on the left side and the control module on the right side. ($1600-$2000) . The car only has 82,500 miles and I have replaced the alternator $1k (not expected) , valve cover gaskets(expected) , numerous suspension parts (expected) , and convertible top pistons . I still have the front struts to go ($1.6k) and a transmission service ($500) ; After I do all that I hope I am over the hump with the car.

Hi my name is Steve and I live in San Diego. I have been lucky to own several AMG models from a 17 C63S coupes to a 20 GLC63S, CLA45 and back to a 20 C63S Coupe. Mercedes is the only one that gave me a chance after being ignored by 9 dealerships so my loyalty with Mercedes is very personal. Thank you

Welcome aboard! I see you have found the W206 forum where the experts are! All the best with the C200 🙂
Hi Ken from Vancouver. Long time 911 driver looking to add a wagon and watching the E450. Shame it doesn't come in the non-SUV wanna-be version in North America. The AMG version looks nicer without the plastic wheel lip moldings to my eye. But the AMG adds so much weight and loses cargo capacity so I'm not drawn in that direction.
Looking forward to the 2027 facelift for the E series.
