So its been a few weeks and I must admit that I really want to try and save the ABC but every time I solve one issue another pops up... Now my pump is leaking on the ABC side. Power steering is still good but the fluid from the suspension tank leaks out from the cover behind the pulley. This is a new issue now that I flushed and filled the old dirty fluid. Cleared all the lights and she wasn't leaking a drop... I know its a bad o ring. I can try and change it for under $20 in parts (doesn't look fun), or swap out the whole pump with one from NAPA for $300... New from MB not an option. Should I just change it out with StrutMasters performance coil-over strut conversion and be done???
My name is Lionel, and I'm glad to be a part of this forum. The 2001 ML320 is my first Mercedes Benz and hopefully not my last. I know that I will gain a lot of knowledge from this forum.
Hi Rock, New to writing to forums, (I read them) I assume this is the way to go ?
We have a 01 ML320, 210,000Km & a few more problems than anticipated, I just bought front shocks, & lower ball joints & second hand full steering rack, maybe now it won't "self steer" so much once they are fitted. The thermo-fan is squealing occasionally & has little drive (I can easily stop with my finger with warm engine).
All the ABS lights come on at cold start, (run for a bit sw off, restart OK) ?
Otherwise nice comfy capable 4WD !
Any tips anywhere ??

Hello everybody....I'm Dr.Marvin Monroe! :0
I've been a BMW owner for many years up here in Vancouver, Canada. Just recently starting to think I'm going to migrate over to MB. Have had my eye on a couple of models, so forgive me and my ignorance....I'm going to be asking ALOT of stoooopid questions.
I bought a new 2012 ML350 and it is nothing but a piece of junk. Never again. Engine mounts at 5k, blind spot assist at 20k, stealth belt tensioner at 25k, windshield fluid pump at 40k all had to be replaced. Now, just out of warranty at 52k miles, sunroof and DEF heater not working. Cost is $3000 to fix. I thought MB was durable and bulletproof. Overpriced junk as far as I am concerned! Don't be fooled.
Thanks for allowing me to share your post. I have a 1993 Mercedes 190E 2.3. I plan on keeping it as my classic. And of course the 190E is 21 years old and has some issues that need attention. I will appreciate any members that have experience and expertise for the Mercedes 190E class replying.
Hello All

New to MB, new to the MBworld forum, new to Blogging...
Hi everyone. I'm Eugene from Johannesburg, South Africa. After many, many years of driving 3 series and 5 series BMWs, I've now swopped a "Series" car for a "Class" car. I picked up my new 2014 W212 E250 CDI on Friday. Dolomite brown metallic with Porcelain Black & Burr Walnut interior. Pano sunroof, keyless go , easypack and Harman Kardon sound added (then ran out if money and allowed sanity to prevail. It is a REMARKABLE drive. The car draws so much attention because it's fairly new in SA, and the configuration I must admit is excellent. Looking forward to all the advice of serious MB fans in years to come.
Will post pics if anyone is interested. Dont want to assume anything being a newbie to this esteemed forum.
Hello I'm new to the Mercedes world. Just purchased a 2013 C63 AMG a couple of days ago. Im excited to learn more about the car and all the custom options. I look forward to this forums input on any help I need, at the same time as I learn more about my AMG, I look forward to passing that knowledge along!
Hi, I'm new to mbworld, but I've been a Mercedes owner for decades. I recently returned to the fold with a 2015 E400. I left for BMW (a mistake) when my local dealer's service department literally ruined my E500.
Oh well, I really like the E400 but the 3.0L turbo V6 is a bit light on the power. I wish the 4.0L turbo V8 was still available.
Greetings all. I am Happy to be a part of the forum. Back in Germany I owned a 1981 380 SEL, 1986 500 SEC, 1993 AMG 124 (hardtop & cabrio. I now own a 1992 SL500. I Also own a 1986 Chevy C10 Custom on Air bags and a 2003 Jaguar S Type R.
Hey MB World! I recently sold my truck (seeking a smoother ride) and searched online nearly for 2 weeks straight between the 7 series and an S Class both are beautiful rides. I consider the S Class of all years to be timeless and have a appealing style till this day and the smoothest ride I have ever experienced. That's why I made my purchase on my 2000 S430 Brabus Edition with less than a 100k...
Here are some pictures of my baby, immaculate condition and drives like a gem! Please take the time to comment, give me feedback or any suggestions that will make my car more enjoyable performance wise or any other recommendations. Anything I need to know about this car so I can make it last. So far, I have eliminated the air ride and did a complete coil over conversion to avoid high suspension costs in the future, a Bose sound system with a JL 12" sub and amp all located and installed in the trunk to avoid messing with the Fiber Optic technology.
Don't hesitate to unleash the comments both good and bad on this beauty and I appreciate any feedback I receive from you guys!!!
