Aloha, my name is David, live in Hawaii. Recently purchased a 2011 E-350 with 18K miles and have been checking out the site for a while and felt it was time to join and meet and learn from other MB owners. I want to keep my auto OEM, because it is hard to improve on perfection-IMHO.

Hi All!!!
My name is Ray
After 30 Years working for Mercedes-Benz as a Parts Advisor I finally bought my wife a new car.
I have been asking her for awhile and she kept saying she didn't want one. After I brought the GLK home for her she keeps saying "What was I thinking".
She absolutely "LOVES" this car!!!
I only get to drive it when it needs servicing.

Hello everyone. My name is Charlie Lusch and I live in Southern,Ill. I have been a MB owner for about 7 years now, and recently made a decision that I would like to start doing more DIY tasks etc. I currently own a 1999 E320 that I purchased a few years back and it had only 72k and was pristine. Now it has 120k and things are starting to happen. I will post in the w210 forum, but I am needing a few questions answered about the replacement of the blower motror & regulator. Looking forward to this journey of learning more about these great cars, and doing some of my own mechanical work!
Thanks, Charlie
Thanks, Charlie

I'm Wes from Montana. Have been driving a 04 S430 4matic since september 2013...well, it's really my wife's but I drive it every chance I get, since I am paying for it... LOL. When we were finishing up the deal at the DeMarois MB,
it dawned on me that I was about the same age as was my dad when he bought his first Mercedes....and it was the same color! He loved his and I love mine.
Anyway, glad to be on board!

I also am the proud owner of a 2008 C300 4 matic luxury Irridium Silver w/ 85,500 miles when I purchased her,,,,,, I'm a master mechanic by trade an let me tell you I am very fortune as a result because mine was very needy of general repairs from bumper to bumper, and I absolutely love her,, that certainly would not be the case if I let her fall apart because to keep her in like new condition I've pumped her w/ a ton of general repairs from day one,, and next month will be 2years w/ now 119,000 miles,,,,you got problems chances are I know about it?

I know this is late (about 5 years) but I joined the forums before I bought a Benz. My family (great-grandfather, parents, in-laws) owned Benz over the years but I arrived late to the party.
So, this past Valentines Day (Feb 14, 2015) we pulled the trigger and traded in the Honda Odyssey for a CPO 2012 GL450 Palladium Silver/Tan with 29k miles on the clock.
So far, we've purchased WeatherTech floor mats (tan), updated the headlights (DDM HIDs, 55w - 4600k), added a bluetooth streaming device to the glovebox media module (Tune2Air) and will be upgrading the 19" OEM wheels to 20" OEM(hopefully this weekend).
We love the ride and love the fact it's CPO (we know what repairs to expect in the future).
Detailed and delivered to our driveway.
Regards to all in the MBWorld,
Al

2012 C63 Amg
New member
Hey everyone,
My name is Aman Sundher and I'm from Surrey BC Canada. Just bought my first Mercedes, a 2012 C63 Amg. New to the brand, but this is my 23rd vehicle. My background is a Licensed Commercial Transport Mechanic turned salesman for Class 6/7/8 vehicles. I'm pretty excited to take delivery, I'll post pictures when my car arrives on Monday. Hoping I can find a few local members to go out for coffee/meets/drives with.

New Member in Waxhaw, NC
Hi, I'm Jim from Waxhaw, NC which is on the south side of Charlotte. I bought a 2011 SL550 (Sport Pkg) with 32K mi on it last month. Had all four wheels straightened, new tires are next, probably Michelin or Toyo. Otherwise checked out well.
I took it on a road trip from Charlotte to West Palm Beach last week, got a great wash in Jupiter at Pelican - hand wiped and tires dressed for $13.25!! Here it is in the hotel parking lot, love it!

Better late than never, right?
New member to this board with long MB history. Live in Coastal VA, USA. Currently have a 2002 ML320 Sport I bought new and a 2 owner 380SL with 70k (dry rotting in the garage, sadly). ML has been through the wars, winning them all with minor scrapes and cracks, and has experienced most of the "character issues" this magnificent beast can demonstrate. Went independent with 3rd party parts at 100k miles and still rolling at 155k. Couple of weeks ago drove 500 miles, half of it in a snowstorm, and think it's the last of the great or first of the crappy MBs. At the end of the day, it has been a wonderful vehicle that should have/could have been built with far fewer gizmos that added very little value to old-school guys like me. I will drive it until it leaves the driveway on a flatbed with me toasting it's loyal service.
Youngest daughter is fast becoming driving age. Considering buying a 163 now, while there are some late 320 or early 350s available in great shape. Want a Sport or Special Edition, as I think the distinctive looks really made nice differences.
What do any of you think about the best way to find a great 163 (or 2) that will
treasure my treasure?
Cheers.

Just bought my first mercedes
Hello all, my name is rick, and I am from the SF bay area in CA. We just purchased a 2001 e320 4matic wagon that has 172,000 miles on it. It is in pretty good shape and everything seems to work😱.
I absolutely love the way it feels and drives. It was a 1 owner car and it seems they took fairly good care of it. It does need some work and new tires. We have an appointment to get it fully serviced (ie: all new fluids, etc) and to replace the front axles and brakes.
I sold a 1998 bmw 740il, which was a total money pit to get the e320. The e320 is a much better driving veh than the bmw. If we like this car in the future as much as we do now I can see mercedes being the car manufacturer of choice for us.
Thanks for having this forum to learn from. I am sure we will be referring to it often!
