Welcome New Members
The wife decided on a new 2015 ML 350. She wanted to go a little bigger than the sedan we were in based on the accident. There are a lot of nice AMG sports versions at the dealership so put on your blinders guys!
We picked it up last Thursday. Drives like a dream. We like this car a lot.

So fast forward, got it started and it purred like a kitten, yet kept going into limp mode.
Blew the starter from turning it over way too many times... New starter and now time to tear it apart to find the problem.
Hundreds of searches, maf, bypass valves, everything checked out. In pure frustration, I pulled off one plug and turned it over.
It roared to life.
Here's the clincher, at the end of all this trouble starting it, it was the catalytic converter that was at the root of the problem. I cut it open and half of the interior had corroded away and two chunks had formed a perfect plug going towards the muffler.
So, every time I tried to start it the pieces would plug the exhaust, thus suffocating the engine.
So a word from the wise. Check your catalizers if you just can't get your car to start.
Regards.

Have read enough posts on here, might as well have started an account. Also hoping I can get help with locating a part description/number, but have NOOOOOOOO idea how to post.
Looking forward to staying up to date with everything!
This is my first post and about to make a financial mistake but.. need some insight first lol. I'm in the market for a set of 22x10 with an offset of 38 (mind set on 38 & trying to make it work). I searched high and low to see if any GL's had this particular setup but had no luck. I read something from "SixPack" 38 offset is aggressive but.. Suggested a narrow tire setup. Does anyone know this narrow tire setup?
Also, anyone know how many inches the tire/rim will stick out from the fender on the front/rear of the GL? Trying to keep it classy but adding a little flare. Pic's would be helpful.
Can anyone please shed some light on this?
Happy Holidays,
Chris
