Hello all;
Just bought a 1997 s320 swb from a Bulgarian mechanic who works at a factory certified shop in Tucker, GA...he went through and repaired everything major that goes wrong in this era MB, and sold it to me at a fair price...it seems to me that this mechanic can work on a MB like a good American mechanic can work on a GM/Ford/Chrysler...they grow up working on these cars in their country. It is a real treat watching he and his son work on my(his) car...just had front brake pads and oil changed for the first time since buying it, cost me about 25% of quote from dealer I got just to see...so far, happy with the car. They are amazing. Spoiled for any other ride! I use OEM pads and synthetic oil, Mann filters etc...and I would recommend anyone else does too...
I live in Nashville most of the time and I have been the proud owner of a 2005 E320 CDI for about 5 years. I love it most of the time (except when it needs repairs). 40+ Mpg on Highway. Plenty of get up and go once she's wound out too.
I have a few questions someone may be able to help me with:
1. How do I adjust my low beam headlights ? They seem to be aimed way too low.
2. Can I upgrade my stereo without disturbing the harmonious relationship between stereo, display in instrument cluster & steering wheel controls?
3. Does anyone know of a fair & reliable place to get service and repairs done in Nashville or Jackson,MS ?
Hello everyone, I just sold my Infinity M and looking to buy a used Benz and need some recommendations. I will be traveling and looking to get the best luxury for long drives. I am budgeting 30K and decided Benz is my choice. I will be traveling with my wife and small dog. Any recommendation on models E, S, etc will be of value. Thanks in advance. P.S. currently driving a Hyundai 2003 Santa Fe with 99K miles not a bad car for $500.
Hey y'all,
Checking in from the glorious United States of America, where we consume more fossil fuels than any other country in the world, but Mercedes won't send us their C class wagon. Seriously, wadda we gotta do to convince Angela Merkel? Joking of course, but seriously, I love wagons, and especially wagons with a three point star on the hood. Located in the Bay Area, and drive about 60 miles a day, so I value the time spent in my ride all that much more. Love to read forums...but rarely post. Hope to meet some mb wagon lovers, and all else mb related.
Cheers!
-nate

Hi everyone,
I am James and am a newbie here. My family and I have been enjoying this fantastic brand in particular the E Class until recently. I wish to ask for some advise and to air some grouses that I have, not with the car that we thoroughly enjoyed but the distress we had to endure with the dealer.
Yes, the command center was blurry at first but got the hang of it with my 350ml bluetech , but I love the ride of this car! Owned BMWs will take a Mercedes any day!
Hello I'm David!
I have had a couple of SL's, a 1990 that I drove for almost 10 years and I just sold my 2003. It was painful... I became a Daddy so the two seaters had to go.
Actually I sold all my toys, a 1958 356 Speedster, and a 2001 Ferrari 360....
Time to buy a S500 LOL. Does that make me grownup?
Actually I'm just curious as to what people felt about the reliability of the 2009-2011 cars. Price is reasonable if they are typical MB reliable.
I'm a Portuguese proud owner of a SL320, 1995, with 30000Km (around 18000miles).
Let me say my SL is like new --or should I say, new?! I'm the second owner being the first the founder of major European Mercedes dealer. The car is so new it smells like new (I'm not exaggerating), the car was on a garage with controlled atmosphere; the seat belts original protective/wrapping plastics still in place; the same for the plastic film on the chrome door sills; the remote battery original package was on the glove compartment(!!); I have all the original invoices certifying all services and maintenances; all the original tools; the engine and underbody wax stills there (or a large part of it)... well, it looks great and runs perfectly.
I've been reading the forum for quite a while and I must say it is pretty amazing the quality and quantity of detailed information we may found here.
Naptownfireman checking in. 2011 E350 sport, 14,600 miles. Barely driven. Traded a 2006 Lexus GS300. Couldn't be happier. Well, I could if it had push to start.
Hi Guys! Proud, happy new member of the MBWorld Forum. Bought my first MB in April of this year and jumped right to the ML63. Already drove it from Chicago to FL and back and have to admit it was the BEST road trip ever. 120 never felt so smooth. Anyway, happy to join and hope to gain and provide as much information/knowledge as possible to help us all out. I've had a few "guest" sessions here but feel it is now time to jump in. Thanks for providing this forum and wealth of information. Here's my baby:

Hi, there! I wanted to check in and say hey. I'm a newly registered member of this site, but I've been using the site for years. I own a 2010 GLK, and my husband owns a 2015 ML350 4-matic. I'm pleased to be a part of the group!
Hello all. My wife has been using a 1988 300ce. We haven't used it for about a year as it developed a habit of quiting - usually at intersections and would start again after taking a 10 or 20 min rest. When it started quiting it would occur every month or two but now the frequency has shortened to minutes. I purchased a blinking code reader on Ebay that arrive last week. It gave me an error code 30 on socket 7 which I think relates to a sensor on the thremostat area. I also have error code 3&8 on socket 6 which I haven't the meaning of. Any suggestions out there - - please Russ
Bought an 05 C55 AMG a couple months ago and thought I should join a Benz forum. Have always like to be in the know about whatever it is my short attention span is interested in at the moment. Have already gleaned much info about what to look out for and what mods work best.
