My first Mercedes: 2004 E55 AMG!!
Picked it up today! Silver with black interior. Very clean. some scratches on the rims that I'm looking to get fixed but i have to save up a few more pennies first. I'll try to post some pics. I'm so GEEKED I might sleep in it tonight! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome
Nice pics...black on silver. Elegant
The only advice I have is to stay out of that Atlanta rush hour jam. I never saw so many lanes...none of which were moving. I stayed a few days in GA for a pool cue collector's show and tournament in Marietta. Wow you guys got some traffic!
One geeked AMG owner to another, realize the car is precision built. I never considered warming up the transmission in cars past, but having read a little about AMG care and living in the cold northeast, I understand the car should be warmed up by driving, not idling in park. Oil temp to 80C before pushing the engine is part of the care, but driving the car to get there is important too. It can be difficult to lay off the pedal if the traffic pattern calls for some speed. I say watch your temp before pushing the car. Perhaps others with more expertise will comment further.
My mechanic also advises following the recomended brake fluid change maintenance. My CLK 63 has really low miles and has not been abused as best I can tell, but I will be replacing pads on my 20K service. They're wearing for sure.

@BacNMercedes - I hear you. I'm looking to get some estimates next week. I'm keeping the rims, fixable or not although I did see the same rims on eBay dipped in CHROME... hmmm.

New Floor mats just arrived...
The dealer had to order them from MB. I was told the AMG mats were not available but apparently they are. Hope they fit.
