New member!
Hi all!
About two weeks away from delivery of my 2014 GL550 in lunar blue with designo black interior and really getting excited!
Just wanted to check in as I've been a lurker for a bit!

Longest two weeks of your life? haha , hope everything goes to plan, I am looking into replacing my wife's x5 for a GL350 bluetec at some point, let us know how you like the GL550 ones you get it. did you trade in a GL450? what made you go to GL550?

We love our 450. It's got 110k miles and as a first gen x164 it's been amazing, but the build and features of the 166 are vastly improved. We are going to trade it and our dealer has given us a great price!
Chose the 550 because we wanted options that made a 450 build only a couple grand less than a 550 with the same equipment! Probably got a bit carried away but hey, we know what we love about it and what we wished we had in our old one!

I'm two weeks into my GL550 (2011) w/ only 7k miles. LOVING IT! Its a real head turner and the power is amazing (passes everything BUT a gas station)...

Test drove a GL63 and thought it was amazing...and that I'd probably get to know jonny law on a first name basis if we got that AMG beast!. Enjoy that speed machine!
