2012 Mercedes C300 Luxury
New to the Benz World!!

My wife and I just purchased 2 Mercedes C300. I have the luxury 2012 C300 with 14k miles on it and she has a 2013 Sport with 22k miles on it. We got mine for 21900 and hers for 23k. Given they were both in immaculate shape we thought it was a good deal. Mine was traded in by an older gentleman who you could tell barely drove it and every service was done at Mercedes up to 30000 service packages. My wife's 2013 had no services done at Mercedes and now they are telling me that because no services were done at Mercedes that the 4 year 50k warranty is voided. I really don't care about mine because its over in November this year but my wife's was purchased given the assumption the factory warranty was going to cover it for another year or 50k. We bought them from a Cadillac dealership in CT. I am still learning about these cars I have always been a Honda and Subaru guy but decided to grow up and get a grown man car (Wife wasn't happy with fast , loud, and rough ride anymore plus kid on the way) I love the ride and the look just sucks no much power but like I said time to change priorities. Any help with your experience's would be greatly appreciated. Looking to put in HID and LED bulbs and then maybe look for some AMG Wheels and grill. I was just wondering on the services that need to be done and not just told to be done by Mercedes and charged a ridiculous amount. I believe in Preventative maintenance but not at Benz prices I have always done most of my own work.

I got most of my info on here from AZN and from what I have read he knows what hes talking about, I have not purchased all the LED's and HID kits yet because it is kind of expensive and waiting till I have the extra money. But the illuminated star cost me 60 from amazon and took me 45 minutes to put in taking my time but now that i know how to do it could take me like 20 minutes. You never want to rush and break or scratch something on the car. il post pics and there are videos on youtube on how to remove the grill. Also the rear cam installs were very simple and very cheap only cost me $80 a car and has a great picture.
