Welcome to MBWorld. Dipping is one of the easiest things to do and a great DIY project. The key from when I did it was proper layering. Heavy initial layered by few light coats after with a clean dust free environment.

Let us know if you ever want to tackle lighting as a project. We've outfitted many w211s with modern whiter lighting. Simple DIY plug and play.
