R 350 2011
New to me R class
New to the forum and just wanted to say hello from the east coast . Nothing fancy but just picked up a R class and man so far so good. It's too bad it's discontinued but I'm gonna keep it till the kids get out of college

Welcome to MBWorld! Grats on the R class pickup. It really is too bad R class was discontinued before really given a fair shake as I think it's really an underrated model. Let us know if we can help you out with any lighting upgrades.

I would love to do the xenon upgrade but I don't drive enough miles a year (4000) to justify the cost

Understandable. If you ever get to the point where you do want to upgrade though, your low beams use a H7 units and we have Morimoto H7 HID conversion kits available at $150/kit. Plug and play.

Or a cheaper upgrade would be parking lights which run during the day which use a set of 194 wedge LEDs that only retail $19/set. Also plug and play.
