These really are fantastic cars. Sorry for bad picture quality. Don't know what happened. Thanks again.

Well I certainly do. My family and I spent a night and morning there a few years ago in a drive through West Texas. We were looking for a small non franchise motel and found one owned by a young, new American couple. It was cheap and clean and they were happy with us being happy. The next morning we spent a little time exploring the town and mailing post cards. Took pics of the flag at the fort, ate at IHOP and hit the road again.

Pure West Texas town. Cool place.

Best,
W

Strange, your id somehow suggested you'd been there. Fort Stockton was the stumping ground of my teens. Friday and Saturday nights were drive in, muscle cars and a little brew. Your so right. A pure West Texas town.

Ha! Yes, I suppose it does. West Texas is a special place and our country is lucky to have it. Do you still live out that way?

Now, I'm as far West Texas as you can get. I can walk to New Mexico. Live in El Paso.

Haven't made it to El Paso yet but it is "on the list". I would love to spend some time camping in Big Bend, which isn't that far I would guess.

Nice sled by the way (your Merc.) Beautiful car.
