Just joined - New 2016 GLE450 AMG Coupe
Hi. Just joined up. Thought I would share some feedback about my new GLE450 AMG Coupe. This is the second Mercedes in the family. Wife drives a GLA 250, which is her runabout city car. I've always been a Porsche/Audi guy and this is my first Merc. I'll be posting some of my observations and feedback in the GLE450 section. Great ride but a few weird issues...

Welcome to MBWorld and grats on the pickup. Do some compare and contrast also between the GLE and the GLA where applicable, I know one of the big challenges for many buyers is between the GLE, GLA, and GLC, so people with first hand comparison experience is great for fellow enthusiasts to read

I'm also having some strange issues.
the touch less entry doesn't always work.
the car has died in three occasions when I've come to a stop.
What issues are you having?

Ive had it for about 6 weeks.
Mine died day 2 after going over a speed bump. The engine just shut off like a stall as i was rolling down the road. Restarted ok and hasn't happened since. I talked to a tech at the dealership and he said to let them know if it happened again. So fat oll good. Fingers crossed.
Also, the windows keep going down ofter i put them up. In the owners manual, it says they need to be 're-programmed' by puttimg them up and holding the witch for a few seconds. So i do that and they work ok for a few days and then it happens again.
Lastly, the sunroof is supposed to automatically adjust when opened up in the back if it starts raining, and it works ok, but sometimes when i try to open it again it goes back down on its own.
Seems there are a few glitcy electronics.
