New E350e Plug-in

New E350e Plug-in
Picked up a new W213 E350e SE premium plus plug-in-hybrid company car last Wednesday with the car choice ultimately based around the BIK tax benefits.
It's my first MB after Jaguar XF, BMW 320i, 520d, X3 20d and Audi A7 3.0 Quattro and coming from the A7 smoker the E350e is quite a depart.
Having a Chargemaster station installed both at home and the office I can complete my 12 mile commute on electric charge only. This has become somewhat of a mission to avoid using the engine (this habit will not last as my heavy right foot is itching to stretch her legs). With 246 miles travelled I've got >99.9 mpg and a full charge only just lasts the journey but I'm sure with aircon, heat, heated seats etc. it will fall short in range.
Looking forward to the next couple of years driving MB

Mercedes E350E
Evening, Could I ask when did you order your E350E? I ordered mine in September last year and still have no build date. Ive been told that Mercedes has no sunroofs in stock and because I ordered the Premium Plus Package, then they can't build it.
Ive called Mercedes head office and asked if they could contact the factory and find out when we expect to see the sunroofs, and they said they can't do that.
I was told when I first ordered the car it would be an October build November delivery, now I've been told by Mercedes its "now in the lap of the gods"
Thanks to the delay I'm now in the new RFL bracket of £440 per year, its my first ever Merc and so far the whole experience has been awful.

Ordered mine 7th November, through Alphabet GB Ltd
Ive got the prem plus pack, so not sure why mine came first? Maybe Alphabet have pre allocated builds slots or priority because of their buying power (although they are a BMW owned company)??
I think production of the E350e didn't start until well into 2017, so your originally quoted delivery date was never going to be achieved.
