Hi from the UK
Hi All,
Joined today from the UK, been following the forum for about 2 weeks. Bought my 2017 GLC43 about a month ago, loving it so far. My GLC is fully loaded with every option apart from full leather and a tow hitch. Not having a hitch is a shame; as having one on my Discovery Sport was perfect for transporting my mountain bikes.
My wife owns a 3 month old GLC 220D AMG Line; she traded her much loved Range Rover Evoque for it.
Getting the occasional drive of her Mercedes made me want to chop in my 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport for one for myself sooner or later. Turned out it was very much sooner :-)
First Mercedes cars for either of us.
I'm guessing you ladies and gents like to see a photo, (last two taken at the dealers) plus an introduction doesn't feel proper without sharing at least a snapshot or three.
Have a great day all,
Tony

Welcome! Nice looking vehicle. How do you like the running boards (side steps)? Not sure what you call them in the UK.

Yeah we call them side steps in the UK; from a looks perspective I like them, not sure they have any real practical step purpose as the car isn't tall, although I do think they reduce the amount of mud splashing to the paintwork. They do make it a little tricky getting out of the car as you have to stretch that little bit further to stop getting the back of your jeans dirty on them.
